Sweet Gavvalu/Sweet shells

Hai friends how r u all doing?Hope u all are doing well.I missed lot of recipes during one month.I went to India for my sister marriage.Its a very short trip.We enjoyed the trip very well and really its very hectic.We came back and it takes minumum 10 days to come normal.Now i am back to normal schedule.
Ok lets go to the recipe.today i am coming with nice sweet called Sweet Gavvalu .Its very simple and easy to prepare.It is very tasty too.Ok friends lets go to the recipe



Ingredients:

Maida/All purpose flour-1 cup
Salt-little pinch
Sugar-1 cup
Ghee-2 tsp
Water-required to make dough
Oil for deep frying

Preparations:

How to make Gavvalu Dough:

Take wide bowl and add the maida and salt.Whisk it well.


To this add the 2 tsp ghee and make it crumble.

Now add water slowly and make the smooth dough .



Keep it aside for 15 minutes.

How o make Gavvalu:

Make small smalls with the dough as shown in the pic.
Take the Gavvalu board and take one ball and place it on the board and press down slowly now t will form like shell.



Do all the balls like that.

Sugar syrup:

Place wide pot add the sugar and little water .

Mix it well and make it boil to make double string consistency.Keep it aside.

Method:

Place the pan and add the oil and make it hot.
When it gets hot slowly drop the gavvalu in the oil and fry until it turns light brown.




Take out from the oil and place them on the paper.

Finally add the gavvalu in the sugar syrup and mix it well.


So that sugar coated well to the gavvallu.

Now the Gavvalu are ready.

Note:If we dont have gavvalu board we can use fork.
