Mango Pulihora

 Hai friends today i am coming with yummy and tasty dish "Mango Pulihora". This is very tasty. I really loved it. Fresh Raw mangoes gives nice flavour and tasty to the rice. In India we get the raw mangoes during summer only. But in America we get whole year. I really love the pulihora. I enjoy the pulihora so much. This is my favourite. This is simple .Lets go the recipe





Ingredients:


Raw Mango-2

Rice-2 cups

Turmeric-1/4 +1/4 tsp

Salt to taste

Green chillies-10

Chopped Ginger-1/2 tsp

Dry red chillis-few

Peanuts-1/4th cup

Cashew-1/4th cup

Urad dal-1/2 tsp

Chana Dal-1/2 tsp

Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp

Jeera-1/2 tsp

Curry Leaves few

Hing little pinch


Preparations:

Clean the mango and peel the skin

Grate both mangoes and keep it aside

Cook the rice by adding little turmeric


Method:


Place the deep bottomed pan add oil and heat it. When it gets heat add the cashew , peanuts, urad dal  

and chana dal

Fry untill light brown. Now add the mustard seeds, jeera, green chillies ,dry red chillies, chopped ginger  and curry leaves

Add grated mango and mix it well

Add the little turmeric and salt mix it well

Add the cooked rice and mix it well

Now Mango pulihora is ready to serve.

Sugar Coated Parched Rice(Krishna Astami Spl)Paakam Neyyalu

Hai friends today i am coming with yummy recipe called " Paakam Neyyalu".In some place they call it pelalu.In english we call it Parched rice.This is Krishna Astami spl.Yesterday i did this for Krishna Asthami .Now a days we are getting this in Usa.But  i didn't buy here.My parents sent the Neyyalu.
Ok lets go the recipe



Ingredients:

Neyyalu/Parched Rice-1 cup
Ghee-2 tsp
Sugar-3 tsp
Water very little


Preparation:

Take the pan and heat it.Add 2 tsp of ghee and add the parched rice .
Roast it in low medium till they are crisp.





 Now keep this Parched Rice aside.


Method:

Take the pan and heat it.To this add the sugar and required amount of water.






 Make it boil as shown in the pic.Boil it all the sugar melts.Dont make it burn.Now add the roasted parched rice.



Mix it well .The syrup should coated well to all the parched rice.


Make it cool and offer to God.Later we can have it Prasadam.

Annavaram Prasadam/Broken Wheat Halwa

Hai friends how r u guys hope u are doing good.Today i am coming with one nice recipe called "Annavaram Prasadam".This is traditional prasadam to Satyanarayana Swamy.In Annavaram this tastes like Amrutham.For every Satyanaraya Vratam i used to prepare this Halwa.I really like it.This we can prepare in two methods but today i am coming with one of the version.This take little more time to prepare we have to cook in low flame too.


Ingredients:

Broken wheat-1 cup
Sugar/Jaggery-1 1/4
Ghee-3 cups(or you can use 3 sticks butter)
Water-3 cups
Milk-1 cup
Nuts-1/2 cup(Mixed of cashew and Almonds)
Raisans-1/4th cup
Elachi -2 to 3 pods

Preparations:

Take a pan and heat it.Now add little ghee and  roast the wheat in low flame until nice aroma comes.This take like 30 minutes.Keep this aside.



Method:

Now take the deep bottomed pan and heat it.

To this add the ghee or butter and heat it.




Add the nuts and raisans fry until it turns to golden yellow.This takes only one minutes.
Add the wheat and fry in low flame until the wheat starts to pop like white colour as shown in the pic.


To this add the milk and water and mix it well.Now cook this in low flame until the wheat gets cooked.(This takes like 30 minutes).


Now add the jaggery and sugar,remaining ghee ,powdered elachi and mix it well.





Cook this until the ghee floats.(This is takes like 5 minutes app).


Now the Broken Wheat  Halwa done.

Finally add Paccha Karpooram little pinch it gives nice flavour.











Note:

Ghee  :We can use both ghee or butter.
Nuts:This we can add and first.
If u wants cruncy nuts add at end.
