Dahi Vada(With left over punugulu)

Hai friends today iam coming with one famous dish called Dahi Vada.This one of  India's famous dish.My mom used to prepare this dish on Sancranthi.We love it with the combination of dry peas curry.Today i prepare this with left over punugulu.Last week i prepare more punugulu the next day i prepare like this.It came out good so i want to share with u guys.Lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Left over punugulu-1 cup
Curd-2 cups
Green chillies chopped-2
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Dry red chilli pieces-few
Curry leaves-few
Oil-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Amchur powder-1/2 tsp
Coriander strings few

Method:

First we have to microwave the punugulu for 1 minute so that it turns to little soft so that curd goes into the punugulu and gives nice taste.
In the mean time we have to whisk the yogurt by adding little water and salt and keep it aside.
Now place small pan and heat it for tadka.
Add oil when it gets heat add the mustards seeds when it starts to pop add the jeera,dry red chilli pieces,curry leaves transfer this to the yogurt and mix well.
To this add the heated punugulu.
Finally garnish with the coriander leaves and the amchur powder.
Serve this with hot or cold.This can be taken with both the temperatures.
Serve this with chana curry it gives nice taste.

Dal Roti(with leftover dal)


Hai friends today i am coming with the "Dal Roti".This is nothing but preparing the roti with the leftover dal.This recipe i got from one of the blog when i am searching for some recipes.When i saw this i like this recipe very much.Soon i tried this with the left over dal.First i prepared with the leftover dal.When ever i feel little lazy to cook food then i go through the fridge if i saw the dal now i am preparing like.Now lets go to the recipe

Ingredients:

Wheat flour-2 cups
Palak Dal-1 cup
Water to knead the dough


Method:

Mix the dal with the wheat flour and make it like the chapathi dough.Keep it aside for 15 minutes.

Now make lemon size balls and roll it like chapathi.Do all the small dough like the same. Place the tawa and heat it .When it is medium heat place the roti and heat it.
When the bubbles are formed then turn the roti and heat like the same way.Do all the rotis like this.Serve hot with the curry,pickle and fresh onions.

Vaamu Annam(Ajwain Rice)

Hai friends today i am coming with very simple healthy rice.This is good for digestion.Some days if we felt trouble i dijestion problem that time prepare this rice it will gives you the best results .This we can do with leftover rice or you can prepare the vaamu mixture and preserve it.We should take this once a week.I used to take this but once in a month.Now lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:


Rice - 1 cup(cooked)
ajwain-2 tsp
dry red chillies pieces-10
mustard seeds-1/4 tsp
jeera-1/4 tsp
garlic cloves-3 to 4(Indian garlic we have to use full garlic pod)
curry leaves -few
oil-1 tsp
salt-acc to taste.


Method:

Place the pan on the heat and pour the oil ,garlic .when the garlic turns to brown color add the mutard seeds,jeera,dry red chillies,curry leaves.

Now clean the ajwain and this to the panFry for 1 minute and add the salt.Again fry for 1 minute finally add the cooked rice.
Mix and fry for 1 minute and serve hot.
