Punugulu
Hai friends today i am coming with nice evening snack called Punugulu. Its very simple and tasty. This we can prepare with the idly batter or with rice flour and the maida. Ok lets go to the recipe.
Ingredients:
Rice flour-1 cup
Maida-1/2 cup
Yogurt-required to mix the batter
Chilli ginger paste-1 1/2 tsp(acc to ur taste u can add more or less)
Salt to taste
Coriander-1/2 cup(chopped)
Onions(big)-1(chopped)
Oil for deep frying
Baking soda little pinch
Method:
First chop both the onions and the coriander.
Take large bowl and add all the ingredients except the oil.
Mix it well and add the yogurt the batter should not be liquid consistency. It shuld be hard so that we get nice pakoda.
Now place deep frying pan and pour oil and heat it.
When it gets heat we can smalls from the batter ddrop one by one in the oil.
Heat it changes to brown colour.
Remove from oil and take them on the paper so that it absorbs excess oil.
Serve it hot with chutney.
If we like the punugulu little hard like pakoda then the batter should be little hard.it comes like this.
