Sabudana Kichidi(Saggubiyyam Khicidi)


Hai friends today i am coming with nice recipe called "Sabudana Khicidi".In telugu we call Saggubiyyam.This is simple and tasty breakfast .I really like this dish.This is Maharashtra traditional dish.This we can have for breakfast  and snack.I like this for breakfast.Ok lets go the recipe

Ingredients:

Sabudana-1 cup
Peanuts-1/4th cup
Potatoes-2
Green chillies-4
Curry Leaves-few
Salt to taste
Turmeric little pinch
Oil-1 tsp

Prepations:

Dry roast the peanuts until it turns to light brown.Make it cool.


Take in the blender and blend to coarse powder.





 Cut the potatoes and put in the water as shown in the pic.
 Soak the Sabudana overnight or 6 hours.(Soak the sabudana until it covers)

 Method:

Take the deep bottomed pan and heat it.



 Add the oil and add the mustard seeds and jeera make it pop.
 To this add the slit green chillies and curry leaves.
 Add the chopped potatoes and turmeric.Mix it well.


 Cover it cook until potato cooks.
 When the potatoes are cooked add the soaked sabudana.Mix it well.
 Add salt and cook in low heat for 2 minutes or sabudana turns transparent.Finally Mix the powdered peanuts.(oops missed the pic)

 Now the Khicidi is ready.

Cabbage Pakodi

Hai friends today i am coming with simple and easy tasty snack called "Cabbage Pakodi".This is very simple and tasty snack.During the rainy season this snack goes well with tea.This we can prepare with Urad dal batter or besan.Today i am coming with besan version.Ok lets go the recipe


Ingredients:

Shredded Cabbage-2 cups
Onion slices-1/2 cup
Besan/Chickpea flour-1 cup
Rice flour-1/2  cup
Ginger green chilli paste-2 tsp
Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Baking Soda-little pinch
Curry leaves few
Coriander leaves hands ful
Turmeric-little pinch
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Oil -For deep frying


Preparations:


Take shredded cabbage  with turmeric and boil it.

 The cabbage should be over cooked.It should be little crunchy.Off the heat and drain the cabbage in the colander.Now keep the cabbage aside.

 Method:

Take the cooked cabbage,ginger green chilli paste,baking soda,onions,curry leaves,chopped coriander,besan,rice flour,jeera,salt,chilli powder one by one.Mix it well.Add little water.(While mixing the cabbage and onion leaves little water that water is also enough to mix.








 The mixture is ready.
 Heat oil in the deep bottomed pan.When the oil gets heat slowly drop the mixture little little balls.
 Fry it in low flame until light brown.
 Now the pakodi is cooked well.
 Take out from oil and place on the paper to absorb excess oil.
 Serve it hot with ketchup.

Instant Pizza with Pita bread

Hai friends today i am coming with easy and tasty recipe "Pizza with Pita Bread"

This is very simple and easy to prepare.This is good for after school snack.When i feel hungry and don't have much time i used to prepare this snack and enjoy it.Ok lets to the recipe.





Ingredients:

Pita bread-2
Pasta sauce-1/2 cup
Mozzerella Cheese-1/2 cup
Spinach -Handsful
Mushroom Slices-1/2 cup
(we can use onions,peppers,olives too)
Italian Seasoning-1/2 tsp
Oil for spraying

Method:

Preheat the oven to 400F.In the mean time we have to prepare for pita pizza.
First just warm the pita bread on the hot pan.
.
Arrange the aluminium foil to the tray and drizzle the oil.

Place the warm pita bread on the tray.
Drizzle some oil on the pita bread.
Spread the pasta sauce on the pita.

Arrange the spinach leaves and mushrooms on the pita bread.
Finally sprinkle the cheese on the pita.


Finally sprinkle the italian seasoning on the pita.
Place the tray in the oven to bake.
Now bake it for 6 minutes or until cheese melts.
Take out and Enjoy it hot.
Serve it hot with ketchup.
