Gondh Laddoo/Wheat flour and Nuts Laddoo/Edible Gum Laddoo

Hai friends today I am coming with yummy and tasty sweet called "Gondh Laddoo".This dish originates from Rajasthan.This is very tasty and easy sweet.This is good sweet during winter.Gondh means gum.It gives heat and energy to body .Ok lets go to the recipe.


Wheat flour-1 cup
Gondh(Edible Gum)-1/4th cup
Sugar-3/4th  cup
Nuts(Cashew and Almonds)-1/2 cup
Ghee-1/2 cup



First chop the nuts and keep it aside.
In the pan Add one spoon of ghee and add the nuts .

Fry until light brown.Take out from pan and make it cool.


In the same pan add one more spoon ghee and fry the gondh.The gondh may pop like pop corn.Take from pan and keep it aside.

Wheat Flour:

Now in the same pan add 3 more spoons of ghee and add the wheat flour and fry in the low flame till it changes colour or nice aroma comes.The wheat flour will be like crumble.


Take the Sugar and blend to powder.


Take the nuts and blend it.Keep it aside.

Same as gondh blend it as shown in the pic.

Now in the wheat flour add the powdered sugar,nuts,gondh and little ghee.Mix it well.

Take small amount of mixture and form like a laddoo.Do all the Laddoos.

Serve it.


We can use jaggery instead of sugar.

We can use makhan to this laddoo.This tastes very tasty.

Sabudana Kichidi(Saggubiyyam Khicidi)

Hai friends today i am coming with nice recipe called "Sabudana Khicidi".In telugu we call Saggubiyyam.This is simple and tasty breakfast .I really like this dish.This is Maharashtra traditional dish.This we can have for breakfast  and snack.I like this for breakfast.Ok lets go the recipe


Sabudana-1 cup
Peanuts-1/4th cup
Green chillies-4
Curry Leaves-few
Salt to taste
Turmeric little pinch
Oil-1 tsp


Dry roast the peanuts until it turns to light brown.Make it cool.

Take in the blender and blend to coarse powder.

 Cut the potatoes and put in the water as shown in the pic.
 Soak the Sabudana overnight or 6 hours.(Soak the sabudana until it covers)


Take the deep bottomed pan and heat it.

 Add the oil and add the mustard seeds and jeera make it pop.
 To this add the slit green chillies and curry leaves.
 Add the chopped potatoes and turmeric.Mix it well.

 Cover it cook until potato cooks.
 When the potatoes are cooked add the soaked sabudana.Mix it well.
 Add salt and cook in low heat for 2 minutes or sabudana turns transparent.Finally Mix the powdered peanuts.(oops missed the pic)

 Now the Khicidi is ready.

Cabbage Pakodi

Hai friends today i am coming with simple and easy tasty snack called "Cabbage Pakodi".This is very simple and tasty snack.During the rainy season this snack goes well with tea.This we can prepare with Urad dal batter or besan.Today i am coming with besan version.Ok lets go the recipe


Shredded Cabbage-2 cups
Onion slices-1/2 cup
Besan/Chickpea flour-1 cup
Rice flour-1/2  cup
Ginger green chilli paste-2 tsp
Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Baking Soda-little pinch
Curry leaves few
Coriander leaves hands ful
Turmeric-little pinch
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Oil -For deep frying


Take shredded cabbage  with turmeric and boil it.

 The cabbage should be over cooked.It should be little crunchy.Off the heat and drain the cabbage in the colander.Now keep the cabbage aside.


Take the cooked cabbage,ginger green chilli paste,baking soda,onions,curry leaves,chopped coriander,besan,rice flour,jeera,salt,chilli powder one by one.Mix it well.Add little water.(While mixing the cabbage and onion leaves little water that water is also enough to mix.

 The mixture is ready.
 Heat oil in the deep bottomed pan.When the oil gets heat slowly drop the mixture little little balls.
 Fry it in low flame until light brown.
 Now the pakodi is cooked well.
 Take out from oil and place on the paper to absorb excess oil.
 Serve it hot with ketchup.
