Mini Pita Pockets-Kids lunch box dish 1

Hai friends today i am coming with simple,easy and tasty recipe called Mini Pita Pockets.This is perfect dish for kids lunch box.This we can have it anytime.For this recipe we can use anykind of stuffing.Today i came with potato stuffing.U can add chicken keema,falafal and some cheese.This is perfect for lunch boxes and also for parties too.Hope u all will love it.Ok lets go to the recipe


Mini pita pockets-1 pack
Lettuce-1/2 cup
cherry tomato slices-few
Olives few

Onions -1
Salt to taste
Chilli powder to taste
Coriander cumin powder-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
oil-1 tsp


First clean well the potatoes and place them in the pressure cooker and cook for 2 whistles.
Make it cool and peel the skin.

Now takes them in the bowl and mash it well.

Chop the onions finely.


Take a pan and heat it.When it gets heat pour the oil.
To this add the jeera and make it pop.
Add the coriander jeera powder at this point and mix it well.

Add the chopped onions fry till it turns to light brown.

Add the Salt,chilli powder and mashed potatoes one by one.Mix it well.

Cook this for 2 minutes and off the heat.
Now the stuffing is ready.
Make small cutlets with this and keep aside.

Place the dosa pan and heat it.When it gets heat spray the oil and place the cutlets and fry for 2 minutes.

Roast n both sides.
Now the stuffing is ready.

How to serve:

Place the pan and heat the pita pockets in low flame for 1 minute.

Take out and make a slit as shown the pic.

Now place the stuffing,lettuce,tomatoes,sliced onions and olives.

Now the pockets are ready to serve.

How to remove stickers on the new vessels.(Tip of the day -5)

Hai friends today I am coming with one more new tip called "How to remove stickers on the new pots or vessels or pan.Some stickers can peel easily but some we cant.Some stickers cant remove then they form stains and it may looks little ugly.Here is the tip useful and comes out clearly


New pan
One tong

How to remove the sticker:

Place the new pan on the burners or stove.

Switch on the burner and heat it .

Within seconds it gets heat.Dont high the heat.It may get burnt.
Its in medium heat.

With the help of tong just slowly remove.

It comes out clearly as shown in the pic.

Sweet Gavvalu/Sweet shells

Hai friends how r u all doing?Hope u all are doing well.I missed lot of recipes during one month.I went to India for my sister marriage.Its a very short trip.We enjoyed the trip very well and really its very hectic.We came back and it takes minumum 10 days to come normal.Now i am back to normal schedule.
Ok lets go to the recipe.today i am coming with nice sweet called Sweet Gavvalu .Its very simple and easy to prepare.It is very tasty too.Ok friends lets go to the recipe


Maida/All purpose flour-1 cup
Salt-little pinch
Sugar-1 cup
Ghee-2 tsp
Water-required to make dough
Oil for deep frying


How to make Gavvalu Dough:

Take wide bowl and add the maida and salt.Whisk it well.

To this add the 2 tsp ghee and make it crumble.

Now add water slowly and make the smooth dough .

Keep it aside for 15 minutes.

How o make Gavvalu:

Make small smalls with the dough as shown in the pic.
Take the Gavvalu board and take one ball and place it on the board and press down slowly now t will form like shell.

Do all the balls like that.

Sugar syrup:

Place wide pot add the sugar and little water .

Mix it well and make it boil to make double string consistency.Keep it aside.


Place the pan and add the oil and make it hot.
When it gets hot slowly drop the gavvalu in the oil and fry until it turns light brown.

Take out from the oil and place them on the paper.

Finally add the gavvalu in the sugar syrup and mix it well.

So that sugar coated well to the gavvallu.

Now the Gavvalu are ready.

Note:If we dont have gavvalu board we can use fork.
