Dhaarak(Moong sweet dumplings)

Hai friends today i am coming with nice sweet called Dhaarak.This is the sweet that only get in our places.Its very innovative sweet.We all love it.When i was a child it dont like this sweet now i am ok with this.One of my relative told be the recipe and i give a try.This is the first time i tried the sweet.The recipe tastes the same the look is quite different.Soon i will try another time .Ok lets go to the recipe

Ingredients:

Moong dal(split yellow )-1 cup
Sugar-1 cup
Oil for deep frying
Soda little pinch

Preparations:

First clean well the dal and soak the dal for 1 hour.
After 1 hour drain the water and grind to smooth paste(that should be like boondhi batter)
The batter should be smooth.

 
 
How to prepare Sugar Syrup:

Now we have to prepare the Sugar syrup .Place the pan add the sugar and water .
Add the water until the sugar dissolves in the water.
Make it boil .(The syrup should be like Gulab Jamun Syrup)
Keep it aside.


Method:

Finally place the oil for deep frying.
Take the batter in the holes laddle so that we can get some boondhi or some big drops.
The balls should not be fully fried.It should be in yellow in colour.
When the drops get fried take out from the oil and add them in the syrup.
Do it same to full batter.
This can be served as hot or cold.

Note:

This sweet can mostly prepared in the summer because it cools the body.

Trash to treasure with orange peels(Room freshner)

Hai friends today i am coming with one nice and useful post Trash to treasure.Here comes orange peels they are many things we can do with orange peels.The peels can use whether it is dry or fresh.
Here comes one out of it.

Ingredients:

Orange peels(fresh)-few
Water-3 cups
Cinnamon powder or stick-1/4th tsp

Method:


Take the water in a pot .
Add the fresh orange peels and cinnomon powder.
Make it boil.
When it starts to boil we get nice aroma.
Boil it for 5 minutes.Now u can feel nice fresh in air.
I always used to do this.

Jaggery Rice Puffed Balls(Bellam Murillu Undalu)

Hai friends today i am coming with nice sweet called "Jaggery Rice Puffed Balls".In telugu we call it Bellam Murillu Undalu.This sweet is very tasty and everyone love to eat this sweet.We really enjoy the sweet.Kids love to eat this sweet.We can prepare this sweet with sugar too.Ok lets go to the recipe

Ingredients:

Murmura-3 cups
Jaggery-1 cup
Ghee-2 tsp
Peanuts-1/4th cup(optional)
Elachi Powder-1/8th tsp
Water-1/2 cup

Preparations:

First dry roast the peanuts till it changes to light brown and keep it aside.
Place the wide pan and pour the ghee and add the puffed rice .
Roast till the rice coated well with ghee and nice aroma comes.
Now the puffed ricce gets crisp.


Method:

Place the wide pan and heat it and  add water , jaggery.Let the jaggery melts for 5-10minutes. Cook on a medium heat until syrup begins to nice consistency.
Let it Boil for Five minutes and keep checking the consistency, by dropping a drop of syrup into a bowl of water. the syrup should not dissolve in water, instead it should sit firm on the bottom of the bowl and forms a ball.
Now the syrup is ready.
To this add the elachi powder and mix well and off the heat.
Soon add the Puffed rice and peanuts  mix well.
Now the mixture is ready to make balls.
Apply water to palms and take some mixture in the hands and make it balls.(With the help of water the puffed rice forms balls).
Now the balls are ready.
We can store thos for 15 to 20 days.

Baked Zucchini Sticks

Hai friends today i am coming with nice recipe called Baked Zucchini sticks.Its very simple and easy to prepare.We can prepare this recipe in 15 minutes.I tried this recipe with Zucchini and Carrot we really enjy the recipe.Children are going to love this recipe.Ok lets go to the recipe

Ingredients:

Zucchini-1
Panko Bread crumbs-1 cup
Salt to taste
Pepper-1/2 tsp
Oregano-1/2 tsp
Rosemary(dried)-1/2 tsp
ornflour-1/4th cup

Preparations:

Clean well the zucchini well with water and cut it into sticks as shown in the pic.
 
 
In a bowl add the corn flour and water to make thin batter and keep it aside.

In an another bowl add the bread crumbs,salt pepper,oregano,rosemary and whisk it well and keep it aside.

 
Method:

Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees.
Arrange the tray with aluminium foil and spray the oil.
First take the zucchini sticks and dip in the cornflour batter and then roll in the bread crumbs mixture.
Finally place them on the tray .
Do it all and place them in the oven.
Bake them for 15 minutes.
Later take out from the oven and serve it with ketchup.
 

Note:

Instead of corn flour we can use egg.
We can use carrot instead of Zucchini.
