Coconut Chutney without Tamarind

Hai friends today i am coming simple chutney called "Coconut Chutney".I usually add tamarind to every chutney but in this recipe i didnt add tamarind .Without adding tamarind also the chutney taste amazing.This goes nice with both idly and dosa.Ok lets go to the recipe

Ingredients:

Coconut grated-1 cup
Roasted chana daal-1 cup
Green chillies-6
Ginger pieces-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric-1/8th tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Urad daal-1/2 tsp
Chana daal-1/2 tsp
Curry leaves few
Oil-1 tsp

Sesaoning


Jeera-1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Urad dal-1/2 tsp
Chana dal-1/2 tsp
Curry leaves few
Oil-1 tsp
Hing little pinch


Method:

Place the pan add oil and heat it.

To this add the urad daal and chana daal fry till it turns to light brown.

When it turns brown add the mustard seeds and jeera make it pop.

When it starts add the green chillies ,ginger pieces and curry leaves fry for few seconds.

Now add the coconut,turmeric mix it fry it for 1 minutes.


Finally add the roasted chana dal and switch off the flame.


Make it cool.

When it gets cool transfer all the mixture to the blender and add the salt ,water blend to smooth paste.




Take small pan  add oil and heat it

To this add the urad daal and chana daal fry till it turns to light brown.
When it turns brown add the mustard seeds and jeera make it pop finally hing.
Add the seasoning to the chutney.
Serve with dosa or idly.

Eggless Banana Bread

Hai friends today i am coming with yummy and tasty bread called "Banana Bread".This is very tasty bread.We all loved it.The bread is very tasty and yummy.This bread is good time to eat at breakfast and teatime snack.This is also good for kids lunch boxes.Ok lets go the recipe

Ingredients:


Bananas-3
Wheat flour-1 1/2 cup
Sugar/Coconut Sugar-3/4th cup
Butter-1/4th cup
Curd-1/2 cup
Baking powder-1/2 tsp
Baking Soda-1/2 tsp
Vanilla Essence-1/2 tsp
Chia Seeds-2 tsp

Preparations:

Peel the banana cut it into chunks as shown in the pic.Mash it with the fork.


Keep this aside.
Method:

First we have to prepare the dry ingredients:

Take a bowl and add the wheat flour,baking soda and baking powder.Whisk it well.




Now prepare the wet ingredients:

In the mashed banana add the room temperature butter and whisk it well.


In a bowl add the curd and vanila essence add this mixture to the banana and butter mix.
Mix all banana ,butter ,curd and vanilla essence.
To this add the coconut sugar and mix it well.
Finally add the wheat flour and mix well without lumps.

Sprinkle some chia seeds and mix it.

Grease the pan with butter and add the batter.Tap it twice

Preheat the oven to 350 F and bake it for 45  minutes.
Place in the oven and bake it.



After 45 minutes the banana bread is ready.Make it cool and cut it into sslice and store in the airtight box.
I stored in the fridge and whenever i want i just reheat the bread slice for 10 seconds.It will be fresh for 1 week if it stored in the fridege.
Serve it in the breakfast or snack time.

Note:


Flour:  U can use either wheat flour or All purpose Flour(Maida).It tastes good with wheat flour too.

Butter/oil-You can use either butter or oil.

Egg replacer-  Instead of egg we can use either apple sauce or yogurt/curd.

Sugar-We can use either  regular sugar or brown sugar  or coconut sugar.

Pulla Atukullu/Tangy Poha/Poha Pulihora

Hai friends today i am coming with yummy breakfast called  "Pulla Atukullu/Atukullu Pulihora/Tangy Poha.This we can have during breakfast.This is good for lunch boxes.We all love this recipe.This is very simple and easy.Ok lets go to the recipe

Ingredients:

Atukullu/Poha-2 cups
Tamarind-1 lemon size
Sesame Seeds-2 tsp(optional)
Green chillies-5
Peanuts-2 tsp
Ginger pieces-1 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Dry red chillies-few
Curry Leaves-few
Turmeric little pinch
Salt to taste
Hing-1/8th tsp
Oil-2 tsp


Preparations:

Take 2 cups of poha in a bowl and clean well with water.Drain the water and keep it aside.
After sometime the poha gets soften.

Soak the Tamarind in the warm water.To get more pulp.

Sesame seeds Powder:




Method:

Take the pan and pour the oil and heat it.To this add the peanuts and fry it.
Fry till it turns to light brown.

Now add the mustard seeds and jeera make it pop.
To this add the dry red chillies,green chillies,ginger pieces,curry leaves and hing.Fry for 15 seconds.

To this add  the tamarind juice and boil it.

To this add the turmeric and salt.Make it boil.

When the juice gets little thick add the poha.


Mix it well.

Now add the sesame seeds powder and mix it again.Serve it.




Note:

Sesame Seeds:This is optional we can use or not.
Peanuts:We can dry roast and make powder.This we can use too.
