Rose Flowers(Gulabi Puvvulu)

Hai friends belated"Happy Dussera".This is also called as "Vijayadasami".Ydy i was bit busy due to festival so i cant post anything.During weekends i was also busy bcos some of my north indian friends invited my daughter to do some pooja.They invited all small girls in our group.They did some pooja.Two days i was busy with that.Ydy in our place we used to do pooja to all machineries that have the motor.We used to clean everything and do pooja.After pooja is done we used to put kumkum to all electrics.Thats it for us.Ok lets go to the recipe.I tried this sweet last week.This is the first time i tried this recipe.I got this recipe from my cousin Jyothi.She told me how to prepare this.And also 2 months back i saw this in Aha Emi Ruchi tv cooking episode.So i got it how to prepare.It came out good and its very tasty.


Rice flour-2 cups
Maida-1 cup
Sugar-1 cup
Salt little pinch
Oil -2 cups(required for deep fry)
Water required to mix
Rose flower mould


Take large bowl and add all the dry ingredients rice flour,maida,sugar,salt.

Whisk it well.

Now gradually add water by mixing without any lumps.

The batter should be not hard or not liquid consistency.

It should be like dosa batter.
Now put oil and heat for deep frying.

When it gets heat first we have to put the mould in the oil and heat it.It should be heat it well(The mould should be very hot otherwise the batter wont stik to the mould).

When it gets heat now dip the mould in the batter soon the batter stick to the mould.

Now immediately we have put the mould in the oil and shake it now the batter forms like the flower and comes down fry this until it changes to brown colour.(If it did not come take of with the help of fork.It should be done fastly otherwise it has been cooked and stick to the mould.When we do it imeediatly that time it will be wet so that it can come out.)

When the flower is frying we have to again heat the mould and do same to all the batter.

This we have to do one by one.
This sweet is cispy and store in the air tight box.

Hai friends today i am coming with Sunnundalu.This Andhra famous sweet.In our place this sweet is compulsory used in ocassions like marriage,baby shower and craddle ceremony.This sweet can prepare with the urad dal,rice,jaggery and ghee.But instead of jaggery i am using the sugar.Actually i prepare this sweet for my friend she is 7th month at that time.Now her baby is 6 months old.Its very late to post the recipe.Ok lets go to the recipe.


Urad dal-1 cup
Rice-1 cup
Sugar-2 cups
Elachi-4 to 5 pods
Ghee-App 1 cup


First dry roast both the urad dal and the rice separetly until it changes to light brown colour.

Now make them cool it separetly.
In the mean time we have to prepare the sugar powder.
Now take the sugar and the elachi in the jar and make it fine powder keep it aside.

Now blend both the urad dal and rice flour into very fine powder.It should be very smooth and fine.

Take large bowl and add all the powders in the bowl and whisk it well.

Now add the ghee mix gradually until it is nice consistency to make laddoos.

If the ghee is less we cant make the laddoos.
Now make all the mix to laddoos.This u have to store in the air tight box.It is good for 15 to 20 days.
Enjoy the sweet.

Chicken Pakoda and Instant Onion Pickle

Hai friends today i am coming with one of tasty and famous dish chicken pakoda.This is one of street food in India.In the evening time all the people will come to the small shops on the road side and enjoy this food.In our house on special days we used to prepare this But now we r not preparing bocs my father should not eat this food so my mom wont prepare this.After many years last sunday i prepare this.My husband and all my friends love this recipe.For this we have to use corn flour but i did not get the corn flour so for alternate i add the rice flour and besan.Ok lets go to the recipe.


Chicken-1/2 lb
Besan-2 tsp
Rice flour-4 tsp
Chilli powder-1/2 or 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
garam masala-1/2 tsp
chilli sauce-1/2 tsp
soya sauce-1/2 tsp
tomato sauce-1/4 tsp
turmeric little pinch
red food colour pinch(optional)
Oil for deep frying


First take the chicken in the bowl and clean it well.
In another bowl add all the ingredients and whisk it well without the lumps. Dont add the oil.

Now add the chicken and mix it well.Keep this aside for 4 to 5 hours.

After 5 hours pour the oil in the frying pan and heat it.

When it gets heat add the chicken pieces into batches and fry until brown colour.

Now remove from the oil and serve hot with the Instant onion pickle.


chilli powder-1/2 tsp
salt to taste

First cut the onions into chunks or strings..
Now soak this for 30 minutes in the sugar water to get sweet taste.

Now drain the water and add the chilli powder,salt and lemon juice.
Mix this well
Serve this with chicken pakoda.

Potato fry

Hai friends today i am coming with very simple recipe "Potato Fry".We called it as Aloo fry.Everybody love the potato fry.With potatoes we can prepare many recipes.Some times we can prepare with skin or without skin.We can prepare many items like curries.kurma,rice,paratas,soups with the potatoes.I other countries mostly they prepare french fries.
Now would like to say about Pyiya prasanth.She is very good in giving nice encourage ment and passess more awards.She had good collection of juice and shake recipes.I am very much hounoured to recieve the awards.Thank u so much priya darling.

Ok lets go to the recipe.


oil-1 tsp
mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
jeera-1/2 tsp
urad dal-1/2 tsp
chana dal-1/2 tsp
curry leaves-few
dry red chillies-few
salt to taste
red chilli powder-acc to ur taste
Turmeric pinch


First peel the skin of the potato and cut into cubes and chop the onions also.
Now place the pan and heat it.When it gets heat pour oil add the urad dal and chana dal when it changes the colour add the mustard seeds.within few seconds the mustard seeds pop soon add the jeera,red chilli pieces and curry leaves.

Now add the onions,turmeric and fry until it changes the colour.

Add the potato pieces and salt mix it well and close the lid.Now low the heat.

In low heat the pototoes r well cooked and they wont stick to the pan.
Cook this for 2 to 3 minutes.

Now open the lid and mix well and add the chilli powder and again mix well.

Fry this for 1 minute and off the heat.

Now take all the curry in the serving bowl and serve hot with rice or roti.

This goes nice with rasam rice.
