Tomato Upma

HAi friends today i am coming with very simple tiffin upma.We can prepare many types of upma's but today i am coming with the Tomato upma. For this we can prepare with sooji, rice pieces(In telugu we called nooka)or broken wheat.
Today i am preparing with the sooji.Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Sooji-1 glass
Tomatoes-4(If the tomatoes r small u can use more)
Onion(big)-1
green chillies-5 or 6(u can use acc to ur taste)
Cashew- few
Oil or Ghee-1 or 2 tsp
urad dal-1/2 tsp
Chana dal-1/2 tsp
mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
curry leaves few
coriander chopped few
Water-3 glassess

Method:

First we have to chop both onions and the tomatoes
First place the deep bottomed pan and heat it.
When it gets little heat add the oil ,cashew, urad dal, chana dal.Fry until it changes to light brown then add the mustard seeds, jeera, green chillies, curry leaves..

Now add the onions and fry it changes to light brown.

Now its time to add the tomatoes fry until the tomatoes r well cooked.

When the tomatoes r almost done pour the 3 glassess of water and salt.

Close the lid and make it boil. When it starts boiling now slowly pour the sooji by continously stirring without forming any lumps.(while we r adding the suji that time we have to cook in low flame)

Within 1 minute the upma is ready.

Finally add the chopped coriander and serve hot.

Note:
If u want upma like i show in the foto the ratio is for 1 glass suji we hae to take 3 or 4 glassess of water.
If u want upma like coarsse then the ratio is for 1 glass suji we have to take 2 1/2 water.
