Potaadu(Breakfast with Moong dal)

Hai friends today i am coming with different breakfast called "Potaadu".It sounds different.This is one kind of breakfast we used to prepare its very easy to prepare.Its very tasty but need little patience.This we can prepare in two ways today i am coming with one method.Soon i will come with another method.
Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Split moong dal-2 cups
Rice-2 tsp
Green chillies-6 -7(According to ur taste)
Ginger-Few pieces
Jeera-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Water required to grind.

For seasoning:

Onion-1 or 2
Turmeric-little pinch
Oil-3 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Dry red chillies-few
Curry leaves few

Preparetions:

Take the moong dal in a bowl and clean well with water.
Add more water and soak this for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Later Take the soaked moong dal in the jar and green chillies,ginger,jeera and salt add water and grind to smooth paste.
It should be like dosa batter consistency.
Keep it aside.

Method:

Take the wide pan and add the oil and heat it.
When it gets heat add the mustard seeds and jeera.
When it starts to pop add dry red chillies and chopped curry leaves and fry this.
Later add the chopped onions and turmeric and mix it well.
Fry until the onion turns to light brown.
To this add the grinded paste and mix it well.
Here we have to mix it well continously we need more patience to mix this well.(Dont leave mix it well)
After some time all the mixture gets little crispy as shown in the pic.
Serve it hot.

Omlet

Hai friends today i am coming with the simple and healthy dish called "Omlet".Its universal breakfast.Everybody have their own style.There are different varities of recipes.Some times we used have with rasam rice during lunch or dinner.We can have it as a breakfast,brunch,lunch ,snack or simple dinner.Today im coming with basic recipe. Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Eggs-4
onion-1
Green chilli-1 or 2(Acc to ur taste)
Salt to taste
Turmeric little pinch
Chilli powder-1/4th tsp
Curry leaves few
Milk-3 tsp
Oil to spray

Preparations:
Chop the onions,green chillies and curry leaves and keep it aside.

Method:

Take the deep bottomed bowl and add the eggs .
Whisk the eggs well with the whisker or fork.
To this add onions,curry leaves,green chillies,turmeric,salt,chilli powder,milk one by one and whisk it well again.
Place the pan and heat it .When it gets heat spray very little oil and pour the mixture and heat it .
Then spray very little oil again if needed.
After 30 seconds or minute the onlet gets cooked and comes out easily.
Now turn the otherside of omlet and cook for few seconds .
Take out from the pan and serve it hot with milk or juice.
Now the simple and healthy breakfast is ready.

Zucchini Sandwich

Hai friends today i am coming with the "Zucchini Sandwich".This is very simple,easy and healthy sandwich.I mostly prepare this for breakfast.We can prepare this for anytime.This is comfortable sandwich.Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Bread rolls-4
Zucchini-1
Tomato-1
Lettuce-few
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Oil-1/2 to 1 tsp
Sandwich spread(U can use butter or cream cheese)

Preparations:

First clean well the zucchini with water and cut length wise as shown in the pic.
Slice the tomatoes and keep it aside.

Method:

Bake the rolls

Here in this recipe i used the bread rolls.We have to bake this rolls for 5-6 minutes.
Preheat the oven for 400 F.
Arrange aluminium foil to the baking tray as shown in the pic and place the rolls on it.
Now bake this for 5 minutes or till golden brown.
After 5 minutes the rolls get baked and take out from oven and keep it aside.


Grill the Zucchini.

Place the pan and heat it.When it gets heat add the oil and heat it.
Now place the zucchini as shown in the pic and fry for 1 minute and turn the zucchini and fry another side.
Now sprinkle some salt and pepper.
Take out from heat and keep it aside.

How to serve:
----------------
Now take the roll and cut in the middle horizontally as shown in the pic.
Now apply some sandwich spread.
Place the grilled zucchini.sliced tomatoes and lettuce one by one.
Now serve it with some juice.

Note:

Bread:We can use bread slices also.
Spread: We can use any spread ,butter or cream cheese.
Vegetables:You can use Eggplant,Egg or patties but it gives nice taste with Zucchini.
