Mashed Potatoes

Hai friends today i am coming with nice and tasty recipe called "Mashed Potatoes".This is the tradition side dish for americans that mostly used in Thanks Giving.First i tasted this at KFC.I really love that with the gravy.It melts in the mouth.This is best side dish ever.I really enjoy this.Kids too love this recipe.Ok lets go to the recipe

Ingredients:

Potatoes-1 lb
Milk-1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Butter-3 to 4 tsp
Water-5 to 6 cups

Preparations:

Clean the potatoes well with water and peel the skin.
Cut it into big chunks.

Method:

Place the deep bottom and fill with water and little salt .
Add the potatoes and make it cook.
After 5 to 10 minutes the potatoes get cooked.
Now drain them in the colander.
Now take the potatoes in another pan and add the butter and mix it well.
Add the milk and mix it again to make smooth paste.
Finally add the salt and pepper mix it well.
Serve it with the gravy of your choice.


Note:Here i use store bought gravy.Soon i will come with the gravy.

Chimmili

Hai friends today i am coming with simple and tasty laddoo called "Chimmili".This we do on Nagula Chavithi.Two days back my mom told how to prepare this recipe.But i changed slight changes in the recipe.I just change the procedure.This is very tasty and healthy laddoo.This is nice to take this laddoo during winter.It is good for bones too.Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Sesame seeds-1 cup
Jaggery-1/2 cup-1 cup
Ghee-1 tsp

Preparations:

Soak the sesame seeds in the water for 30 minutes.
Then clean well and drain it completely.
Now dry them on the cloth or the paper.
When it get dry keep it aside.

Method:

Place the pan and heat it.
When it gets heat dry roast the sesame seeds until light brown.
Now take them in the blender and blend for 5 second.
Now add the jaggery and blend to 15 seconds.
Now add the ghee and mix it well(I add the ghee to make laddoo)
Now make laddoo and have it.

Baked Fish Manchurian

Hai friends today i am coming with nice Indo Chinese recipe called "Baked Fish Manchurian".This is very tasty and easy to prepare.I skip the step deep frying and try baking.Its very nice and eastly.Last week i had small gathering so try this recipe.Everybody love this recipe.I hope u guys love and try this recipe.Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

For Marination:

Long Fish Fillets-2(I use Tilapia)
Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
Turmeric-1/8 tsp
Salt to taste
Chilli powder-to taste
Curry leaves chopped-few
Coriander leaves chopped-few
Oil-1 tsp
Corn flour-2 tsp

For Manchuria:

Chopped Onions-1 cup
Chopped garlic-1 tsp
Chopped Ginger-1 tsp
Chopped Curry leaves-few
Chopped Coriander-hands ful
Chilli sauce-1 tsp
Tomato sauce-1 tsp
Soya sauce-1 tsp
Pepper-1/2 tsp
Garam Masala-1/2 tsp
Coriander Jeera Powder-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Cornflour-1 tsp

Preparation:


First we have to defrost the fish and remove the cover and just clean with water.Make each fish fillets into small cubes keep it aside.

Method:

First take small or wide plate or bowl.
Add the turmeric,salt,chilli powder,ginger garlic paste,chopped curry leaves,chopped coriander leaves ,corn flour and oil.

Mix it well.


Now apply this mixture to the all the fish slices and keep it aside for 15 minutes



Preheat the oven for 400 Degrees.
Place the marinated fish cubes on the tray arranged with the aluminium tray.
Baked this for 15 minutes.(In the middle of baking we have to flip the other side and bake it)
After that take them out and keep it aside.
Place the wide pan or wok and heat it.
To this add the oil chopped garlic , ginger,green chillies and Curry leaves give a saute.
Now add the chopped onions and turmeric and mix it well.
Fry until the onion turns to light brown.
Now add the pepper powder,garam masala,coriander jeera powder,chilli sauce,tomato sauce,soya sauce,little water and salt.
Mix it well.
To this add the fish pieces and mix well.
To this add the cornflour mixture and mix it well.
Finally add the chopped coriander and curry leaves mix it well.
Finally sprinkle some sesame seeds and serve it as appetizer or side dish.
