Hai friends today i am coming with snack Chivda.Its very tasty and simple.Within 5 minutes we can prepare this snack.Its a traditional snack in India.Its is called as Spicy mixture.Ok lets go the recipe.


Puffed rice-4 cups
Poha(flattened rice)-2 cups
Roasted chana dal-1 cup
Peanut-1 cup
Sev-1 cup
Turmeric-1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Chilli powder-1 tsp
Oil-5 tsp
Curry leaves few

Use can use cashew and corn flakes also.


First place one large pan and heat it.Pour the 1 tsp oil in it.

First fry the the peanuts until it changes to light brown.Now keep this aside.

In the same pan pour 2 tsp of oil and add the poha and little turmeric in it and fry it.The poha gets little puffed .When it gets puffed take out from the pan and keep it aside.

Now in the same pan add the remaining oil and add the turmeric,salt ,chilli powder and curry leaves mix it well and add the puffed rice.

Mix it well untill all the puffed rice coated with the salt,chilli powder and turmic.Now turn off the heat.
Now add the all the peanuts,roasted chana dal,sev,poha,puffed rice in the bowl and mix well.

Store this in the air tight box and serve this with tea or coffee in the evening.
