Kulfi(Indian Ice Cream)

Hai friends today i am coming with Kulfi.Its also called as Ice cream.This we can prepare in home.Children love this Kulfi.Its very simple and tasty.Ok lets go to the recipe.


Condensed Milk-1 tin
Evaporated Milk-1 tin
Ruafza ayrup-1 to 2 tsp
Cashew pieces-1/4 cup(U can use both pista and cashew)
Saffron strands few
Corn flour-2 tsp
Water-3 tsp


First chop the Cashew and keep it aside.
Now open bothe the condensed milk can and evaporated milk can with the can opener.
Now pour both the liquids in the bowl and mix well.
Add all the remaining ingredients Ruafza ,Cashew ,Corn flour mixed with water and saffron strands ot the bowl and mix it well.
Now take the cleaned Kulfi mould and fill this with kulfi liquid and freeze it for 4 to 5 hours.
After 5 hours take from the freezer and keep under the running water to come out easily.
Now the Kulfi is ready.U can enjoy this.

Jinnu Sweet

Hai friends today i am coming with Jinnu.It is the one of the famous sweet.This we called it as pudding.Here most of them prepare with Egg.But today i am not preparing with Egg.I bought One Instant packet in India that we have to prepare along the instructions.In India when the cow gave birth on first 2 days with that milk only we have to prepare this sweet.Now every thing came instant..OKets go to the reciepe.


Instant Jinnu packet -1
Milk-1/2 ltr(this packet needs only 1/2 ltr milk)
Sugar-100 gms(If u use jaggery we have to take 150 gms)
Elachi pods-3 to 4
Pepper powder-1/4 th tsp


First in a jar take the sugar , elachi and pepper powder blend to a fine powder.
Take deep bottomed bowl pour the 1/2 ltr milk.
To this add the blended sugar powder and also the whole jinnu packet powder without any lumps.
Mix it well.
Now we have to steam the milk for 15 minutes.

Now we have to place the mixture bowl in the steam cooker and steam this for 15 minutes without whistle.
Now make it cool and place in the fridge for 1 hour.
After 1 hour we have take out and cut this like squares and  serve this chilled only.

Chaaru(Rasam) and also an Award

Hai friends today i am coming with Chaaru.This is also called as Rasam.In our daily menu this is compulsory.This we can prpeare in different ways by adding different vergetables.I love this rasam with plain dal.Ok lets go to the recipe.


Tamarind Water-2 cups(Take small lemon size tamarind add warm water and soak for 5 miutes and mix well drain the water)
Turmeric-1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Rasam powder-1 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste-1/2 tsp
Curry leaves few
Oil-1 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Dry red chilli pieces few
Coriander leaves few
Curry leaves strings few


First take one deep bottomed pan and add the tamarind juice and little water.
To this add the rasam powder,salt,turmeric,few curry leaves,curry leaves strings,few dry red chiili pieces and also the ginger garlic paste and make it boil for 5 minutes.When it is boiling we will get nice aroma from it.

After 5 minutes take out from heat and keep it aside.
Now place the seasoning pan and the remaing oil and heat.
When it gets heat add th e mustard seeds.
When it starts to pop add the jeera,dry red chilli pieces,curry leaves.
Add the seasoning to the boiling liquid.
Now remove the curry leaves strings and finally add the chopped coriander.
Serve this with hot rice and papad.

Note:Add the curry leaves stems so that we get nice taste and aroma.After that u can take out from the rasam before serving.
U can add vegetables like Tomatoes,Okra,Drumsticks,Any leafy vegetables and make it boil.
