Vegetable Momos

Hai friends today I am coming with wonderful recipe called "Vegetable Momos".This is chinese traditional dish.This dish is served as appetizer.We can add any kind of stuffing.Today I came with vegetable stuffing.This dish very tasty while it is fresh and hot.Ok lets go to the recipe

All purpose flour-1 cup
Salt to taste
Oil-1 tsp
Water required amount.
Garlic-3 cloves
Soy sauce-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Spring onions hans full
oil-2 tsp
Take all purpose flour in a bowl add salt and whisk it well.

 Add the oil and water mix it well and make the dough.

 Now the dough is ready and cover it and keep it aside .
 Chop all the garlic,onions,cabbage,mushroom ,beans and carrot and keep it aside.

How to prepare the stuffing:
Take a pan add the oil and heat it.
 T this add the chopped garlic and fry it.
 When the garlic is cooked add the chopped onions and fry it.
 When the onions turns to light brown add the chopped cabbage and cook for 2 minutes.
 Then add the carrot and beans and cook this for 4 minutes.
 Finally add the chopped mushroom(Mushroom cooks fastly so it should add in the last).

When all the vegetables are cooked then add the pepper and salt.

 Mix it well.
 Add the soysauce and mix it well.
 Finally add the chopped spring onions.
 Now the stuffing is done.Keep it aside.
 How to do the dip:

Take 1/2 cup onions,1/2 cup tomatoes,2 green chillies,salt and jeera in a blender.
 Blend to smooth paste.
 Now the dip is ready.


How to do the momos:
Take the dough and make small balls as ashown in the pic.
 Take one ball and roll it with the rolling pin.
 Do small chapathi.
 Now place the small amount of stuffing on the chapathi.
 Now fold like momos as shown in the pic.
 Do all and keep it aside.

 Now take one pan and add water and make it boil.
 Take another holes plate and apply oil to it.
 Place all the momos on the plate as shown in the pic.
 Cover it and steam it for 15 minutes.

 After 15 mnutes the momos cooked well.
Serve it hot with the dip

Sorakaaya/Aanapakaaya koora (Bottle gourd curry with peanut powder)

Hai friends today I am coming with yummy curry called "Sorakaaya palli koora".This curry is very easy  and yummy.While I was googling I saw this recipe and tried this recipe.It came out good.It tastes yummy.This curry goes well with both rice and roti.I tried with both.I like it with both.With this spicy podi we can add to more curries.Ok lets go to the recipe


Curry leaves few
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Turmeric little

Spice powder

Peanuts-1/4th cup
Chilli powder-1/2 tsp(Acc to ur taste)
Garlic cloves-2
Jeera-1/2 tsp


Spice powder:
First dry roast the peanuts .Fry until it turns to light brown.

Allow it to cool.Add the cooled peanuts in the jar.

Add the chopped garlic,salt,chilli powder,jeera along with the peanuts.

Blend it to powder.Keep this spice powder aside.

How to cook Bottle gourd:
First peel the skin of the bottle gourd.Cut it into chunks as shown in the pic.

Clean well with water and strain the cleaned water.

Add fresh water,salt and turmeric mix it and place it in the pressure cooker.(Don't allow to more whistle otherwise it may cook over cooked)

Cook this for 2 whistle.Now off the heat and wait until the pressure goes.

Now strain them in the colander.Keep this cooked pieces aside.


Place the wide pan and heat it.
To this add the oil,mustard seeds and jeera.Make it pop.

Add the curry leaves too.

Add the chopped onions and turmeric cook until it becomes to light brown.

Now add the cooked bottle gourd without water.

Mix it well.

Finally add the spice powder and mix it well.

Cook this for 5 minutes.

Now the curry is done.Serve hot with both the rice and roti.


Salt:    We add salt in the spice powder so no need to add while frying the curry.

Vegetables:We can use any vegetable Tindora,Potals ,potatoes instead of Bottle gourd.
