Chicken Ghee Roast

 Hai friends today i am coming with yummy and tasty recipe called "Chicken Ghee Roast". This we can prepare with mutton too. First when I heard ghee roast i was really surprised .Cooking chicken with ghee is interesting . When i tried the recipe we really enjoyed .This best side dish. Hope you all will love it. Ok lets go to the recipe




Ingredients:

Chicken-2 lbs
Onion-1(big)
Dry red chillies-7(Use can use acc to ur taste)
Coriander seeds-2 tsp
Jeera-1 tsp
Saunf/fennel seeds-1 tsp
Methi seeds-1/4th tsp
Peppercorns-1/2 tsp
Cloves-5
Salt to taste
Ghee-3 tsp
Lemon juice-3 tsp
Yogurt/curd-1 cup
Curry leaves few
Garlic-4 cloves

Preparation:

First place the pan and dry roast the red chillies and keep it aside


In the same pan add all the spices coriander, jeera, saunf, peppercorns ,cloves  





Roast in low flame.

Make it cool and now add roasted spices. dry red chillies and garlic in the jar along with required amount of water and blend it





Now take 1 cup yogurt in the mixing bowl and add the masala 



Add salt and lemon juice. Mix it well




Now add the chicken and mix it well.

Cover it and marinate for 1 hour.



Method:

Place the pan and add the ghee and heat it


When the ghee melts add the chopped onions and fry it.

Fry the onions till it turns to light brown

Now add the marinated chicken

Mix it well and.Cook this for 10 minutes
Now add the salt 
Cover it and cook for 15 minutes

Now open the lid and cook till the gravy gets thick
It takes 5 minutes 
Finally add the fresh curry leaves and mix it well
Fry for 1 more minute.

Now chicken is well cooked. Serve it hot as side dish
