Aaviri Vadiyalu/Steamed Papads

Hai friends today i am coming with yummy and tasty papads called"Aaviri Vadiyalu.We call Steamed Papads in English.This can be prepared very easily.This will dry very fastly.It can be dried inside the house too.This can be done in more flvours too.I loved tomato steamed papad.Ok lets go the recipe


Ingredients:

Raw rice-1 cup
Jeera/cumin-1/2 tsp
Green chilies-3
Salt to taste
water required to grind
Oil-2 cups to fry the papads


 Preparations:

Take one cup rice in the bowl .Clean well with water.


Add fresh water and soak this for 6 hours.


After 6 hours take soaked rice ,chillies ,salt jeera and water
 .Blend to smooth like dosa batter.






Method:

Take water in the boil cover with lid and boil it.
 When water is boiling

Take the plate which covers the bowl.
Take the plate apply water and take laddle full of batter and spread on the plate



Place the plate on the boiling water and cover with lid and cook for 10 seconds
 Open the lid and slowly remove the plate.
 take the tooth pick and carefully lift the ends .It will come out easily


Do all the batter like this .We need two plates so that we cam make fastly.

place them on the plastic sheet and dry them .

It will dry in 3 hours

Now the papads are ready



How to fry

Place the oil for deep frying.Drop  the papad slowly in the oil

Fry it

When it is fried take out from oil.
 Serve it hot.




Note:

We can add the more jeera to the batter also.

We can add the tomato puree,palak puree and beetroot puree to the batter .We can try different flavours.
