Tomato Pudina Chutney/Pacchadi

Hai friends today I am coming with yummy easy and tasty recipe called"Tomato Pudina Chutney".This is very easy and simple recipe.In my backyard I got fresh pudina.fresh pudina gives nice flavor and taste.This chutney can prepare with both coriander and pudina too.I always prepare with coriander.This time tried with pudina.It came out so good.Ok lets go to the recipe

Ingredients:

Tomatoes-3
Pudina-1 cup
Green chillies-5
Tamarind- little
Salt to taste
Turmeric little pinch
Oil-2 tsp
Garlic cloves-few
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Dry red chillies-few
Curry Leaves-few(I am out of curry leaves )

Preparation:

Clean well the pudina and keep it aside


Clean the tomatoes and cut it into chunks.




Method:


Place the pan and  heat it and add the oil.

When the oil gets heat add the tomato chunks and cook it.

Fry the tomatoes for 3 to 4 minutes.
 When the tomatoes are soft add the green chillies and pudina.Mix it well.

 When all the mixture is cooked add the tamarind and cook for 1 more minute.
 Off the heat and make it cool.
 Tranfer all the mixture to the jar and add the salt.



 Blend to smooth paste

Tranfer the mixture to the bowl

 Place the small pan add the oil and heat it.Add the garlic cloves,mustard seeds,jeera,dry red chillies .

 Add the seasoning to the chutney.



Serve it with hot steamed rice or Dosa.
