Blackeyed Beans Sambar/Alasandalu Sambar

Hai friends how are u guys.These days I was busy and was not able to cook properly.So not much into the blog.Missed many post and recipes.After many days today I open my blog and seared recipes .Ok lets go to the recipe today I was coming with  Blackeyed Beans Sambar.This is very unique recipe.This  recipe is from Chandana.In her website we get many traditional and easy recipes.I really love her blog.Ok lets go to the recipe

Ingredients:

Black Eyed Beans-1 cup
lime sized ball Tamarind-1/2
Tomatoes-2
Turmeric Powder-1/2 tsp
Oil-2 tsp
Salt to taste
Chilli Powder-1/2 tsp
Green chillies -6
Jaggery-1/2 tsp
Chilli ginger paste-1 tsp
Curry Leaves -few
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Dry red chillies-2
Asafoetida-little pinch
Sambar powder -1 tsp
Grated Coconut-2 tsp

Preparations:

Take beans in the bowl and soak this beans for 1 hour.








After 1 hour take the beans in the pressure cooker and cook for until 3 whistles.


When the beans get cooked make it cool.
Then grind to smooth paste and keep it aside.
Method:
Place the wide and deep bottomed pan and heat it.
To this add the 1 tsp oil and heat it.
Now add the mustard seeds,jeera,chilli ginger paste , green chillies and curry leaves.




Add the chopped tomatoes and turmeric mix it well.


Cook this till the tomatoes get cooked.

To this add the tamarind juice and make it boil.


When it starts to boil add the sambar powder,jaggery,salt,chilli powder and blackeyed beans paste and mix it well.





Cover and cook this for till it starts to boil.

Now to this add the tadka place the small pan and add the oil ,mustard seeds,jeera,dry red chillies,curry leaves,hing and finally add this to sambar.


Finally add the grated coconut and mix it well.
Serve this with hot steamed rice and papad.

Frittata

Hai friends how are u guys.I hope everybody are enjoying summer holidays.I hope everybody are busy with kids.I too bit busy with my little one.And these days I was bit busy.These days I was enjoying with my BFF.We two met after 10 years.We chit chat a lot and went out and have nice time.
Ok we enjoyed a lot and had nice food too.Ok lets go to the recipe

Today I am coming with Frittata.
Frittata is an egg-based dish similar to an omelette or crustless quiche, enriched with additional ingredients such as meats, cheeses, vegetables or pasta. It may be flavored with herbs.The Italian word frittata derives from fritta.This I saw in the tv and give a try.I really love it.Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Eggs-3 to 4
Onion-1
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Spinach leaves-1 cup
Milk-1/4th  cup
Oil-1 tsp
Cheese-1/4th cup
Butter-1 tsp

Preparations:

Spinach:

First clean the spinach well with water and chop it.


 Onions:

---------
Chop the onions .

Place the pan and pour the oil then heat it.

To this add the onions and fry it till changes to light brown.
Keep this aside.

Eggs:
-------
Take the bowl and the 3 eggs and whisk it well.

To this add the milk and whisk it again.

Finally add the salt and pepper whisk it well.

Keep this mixture aside.


Procedure:

Preheat the oven for 350 F.

Take the egg mixture and add the spinach,fried onions, and the cheese mix it well.




Take the oven safe bowl and apply the butter.
Pour the egg mixture and bake it for 30 to 45 minutes.
Or bake it until the toothpick comes out clean.


After 30 minutes take out from oven .
 Serve it hot with fresh juice.

Notes:

In this we can add the peppers,zucchini and sausages.
I tried everything and it tastes good.
