Eggless Almond/Badam Cookies

Hai friends today i am coming with yummy recipe called "Almond Cookies".Its very simple and easy to prepare.This can be prepared with both Maida/All purpose flour or Wheat flour/Atta.Today i prepared with Atta.The taste is same and good.Little change is the colour of the cookies only.This cookies i prepared for chrristmas for Santa.My daughter helped me in the preparing of cookies.Ok lets go the recipe


Ingredients:

Wheat Flour/Atta/Goduma Pindi-1 cup
Almond Flour/Badam Pindi-1/2 cup
Unsalted Butter-1/2 cup
Salt little pinch
Sugar-3/4th cup
Baking powder-1 tsp
Vanilla Essence-1 tsp
Milk-1/4th cup

Preparation

Take Whole Almonds in the blender and blend it you get the crushed Almond flour.

Method:
Dry Ingredients:
Take a wide bowl and add the Wheat flour,Crushed Almond Flour Mix it well with the Whisker.


Add the Baking Powder and Salt again mix it well .

Keep this aside


Wet Ingredients:


Take a wide bowl and add the room temperature butter and whisk it well for 1 minutes.

Now add the powdered sugar and mix it well until nice creamy paste.

To this add the vanila essence and the milk.Mix it well.


Now combine both wet and dry ingredients together and make it like a dough as shown in the pic.


Keep it aside and covered for 15 minutes.

Now preheat oven for 350F.

In the meantime we have to make balls .

Take the baking tray and arrange the dough balls as shown in the pic.

Place whole almond on the dough and press gently.place the balls little apart because while baking the cookies may expand.


When the oven temperature is ready place the cookie tray in the oven and bake it for 20 minutes.


After 20 minutes take them out and make it cool.


Now enjoy the cookies.Place them in the airtight container.

Notes:


 Flour:We can use either wheat flour or All purpose Flour

Sugar-We can use brown sugar or sugar

Almonds:Take whole almonds and blend it we get crushed almond.
