Allam Pacchadi/Ginger Chutney/Adrakh Chutney(Restuarant Style )

 Hai friends today i am coming with yummy and tasty recipe called "Allam Pacchadi".This is very simple and tasty.This is good with dosa and Idly.This can be stored for 3 to 4 days.This type chutney i first tasted at the restuarant.After searching d=few recipes in google i found this recipe.I give it a try.It came out so good.So want to share the recipe with u all.Ok lets go the recipe





Ingredients:

Ginger pieces-1/2 cup

Urad dal-2 tsp

Chana dal-2 Tsp

Dry red chillies-5

Salt to taste

Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp

Jeera-1/2 tsp

Turmeric-little

Curry leaves little

Jaggery-small lemon size

Tamarind juice-1/4 th cup

For seasoning/Talimpu-

Oil-1 tsp

Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp

Jeera-1/2 tsp

Dry red chillies-2 to 3 pieces

Curry leaves few

Preparations:


First peel the skin of the ginger and cut it into pieces.Clean well with water and keep it aside.




Soak the tamarind in the warm water and keep it aside.


Method:

Place the pan add oil and heat it.

Add the urad dal,chana dal,mustard seeds nd jeera

Fry this for 2 minutes or until the dal changes the colour

To this add the 4 dry red chillies,ginger nd turmeric



Fry this for 5 minutes.
Now the mixture is ready to grind.Grind it when it gets cool
Add the mixture to the jar

Add the salt,tamarind juice and jaggery one by one.



Grind to smooth paste

Take the paste in the bowl


Now do the seasoning.Place the pan add the oil and heat it.When it gets heat add the mustard seeds jeera and make it pop.When it pops add the dry red chillies and curry leaves.Add the seasoning to the chutney, 


Now the chutney is ready to serve .Serve it with Dosa or Idly.
