Dry Peas Curry

Hai friends how r u guys?Its long time i am posting the recipe.Due to bit busy and sick i cant post the recipes.Anyway now its normal.Last week we had party in our house.It was good.We did party in our house.In the party my daughter enjoyed a lot.Here r some party pics.

Ok now lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Dry yellow peas-2 cups
onions-1
grenn chillies-3 to 4
oil-1 tsp
salt to taste
chilli powder-1 tsp
turmeric little pinch
mustard seeds-1 /2 tsp
jeera-1/2 tsp
dry red chillies-few
curry leaves-few

Method:
First clean the peas and soak the peas for overnight.
After that clean it and pressure cook it for4 to 5 whistles.Now keep this peas aside.
Take one pan and heat it and pour oil.When it is heat add the mustard seeds,jeera,dry red chillies,green chillies and curry leaves.
After that add the chopped onions and turmeric to it fry until the onions changes to light brown. To this add the cooked peas to it and mix it.
Now add the chilli powder and salt to it and 1/2 cup water .
Now mash this peas with the potatoes masher and cook this until it comes to little thick.

Finally add few curry leaves so it give nice flavour and taste.
Now take this curry in another bowl and serve hot with rice,upma,Dahi wada or u can eat as chat .
With this curry we can prepare the chat by adding he chopped tomatoes,onions,carrot,mango and coriander leaves.Finally sprinkle some lemon juice.

  11. Reg your doubt Vineela-if u want to add pineapple, you may cook the pineapple pieces it in a small pan along with granulated sugar till it gets cooked and gets coated with the sugar syrup. Either way I dont think adding other fruits would make any difference to the final batter consistency because after all blueberries are added towards the end :) Or if u still have doubts you may even make with bananas n nuts alone.
