Hai friends how r u guys?I hope u all doing good.As i told in previous post i was busy because my in-laws r in my house so cant post the recipes frequently.Now-a-days i am not trying any new recipes also.Today i am posting from some of in my drafts.Today i am coming with the Aloo Curry.This is very simple and easy to prepare.This goes nice with the rice,roti and also with the dosa.Even with the leftover curry we can prepare the paratha and also Aloo bonda.Ok lets go to the recipe.
Ingredients:
Potatoes-4
Onions-2
Chopped green chillies-few
Dry red chillies-few
Urad dal-1/2 tsp
Chana dal-1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves few
Turmeric little pinch
Ginger Garlic Paste-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Chilli powder to taste(you can use according to ur taste)
Chopped coriander hands full
Oil-1 to 2 tsp
Preparations:
First clean the potatoes well with the water and boil the potatoes until til gets soft.
When the potatoes get cooked make it cool.
When it gets cool peel of the skin well and mash the potatoes well with ur hands or u can use with the potato masher.
Keep this aside.
Chop the onions and keep it aside.
Method:
Place the pan and heat it.When it gets heat add the oil,urad dal and chana dal.
After 1 minute the dal turns to light brown to this add the mustard seeds,jeera,chopped green chillies,dry red chillies and curry leaves.
Fry this for few seconds and then add the chopped onions ,turmeric and mix it well.
Fry the onions until it changes to transparent.
Add the ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes.
To this add the salt and chilli powder and mix well.
Now add the mashed potatoes and mix well.
Finally add the chopped coriander and mix well.
Serve hot with the rasam rice.
Anything with potato is a yes to me...and this looks delicious...
