Annavaram Prasadam/Broken Wheat Halwa

Hai friends how r u guys hope u are doing good.Today i am coming with one nice recipe called "Annavaram Prasadam".This is traditional prasadam to Satyanarayana Swamy. In Annavaram this tastes like Amrutham. For every Satyanaraya Vratam i used to prepare this Halwa.I really like it.This we can prepare in two methods but today i am coming with one of the version. This take little more time to prepare we have to cook in low flame too.

Broken wheat-1 cup
Sugar/Jaggery-1 1/4
Ghee-3 cups(or you can use 3 sticks butter)
Water-3 cups
Milk-1 cup
Nuts-1/2 cup(Mixed of cashew and Almonds)
Raisans-1/4th cup
Elachi -2 to 3 pods

Take a pan and heat it.Now add little ghee and  roast the wheat in low flame until nice aroma comes. This take like 30 minutes.Keep this aside.

Now take the deep bottomed pan and heat it.

To this add the ghee or butter and heat it.

Add the nuts and raisans fry until it turns to golden yellow. This takes only one minutes.
Add the wheat and fry in low flame until the wheat starts to pop like white colour as shown in the pic.

To this add the milk and water and mix it well. Now cook this in low flame until the wheat gets cooked.(This takes like 30 minutes).

Now add the jaggery and sugar, remaining ghee ,powdered elachi and mix it well.

Cook this until the ghee floats.(This is takes like 5 minutes app).

Now the Broken Wheat  Halwa done.

Finally add Paccha Karpooram little pinch it gives nice flavour.

Ghee  :We can use both ghee or butter.
Nuts:This we can add and first.
If u wants cruncy nuts add at end.
