Pulla Atukullu/Tangy Poha/Poha Pulihora

Hai friends today i am coming with yummy breakfast called  "Pulla Atukullu/Atukullu Pulihora/Tangy Poha.This we can have during breakfast.This is good for lunch boxes.We all love this recipe.This is very simple and easy.Ok lets go to the recipe

Ingredients:

Atukullu/Poha-2 cups
Tamarind-1 lemon size
Sesame Seeds-2 tsp(optional)
Green chillies-5
Peanuts-2 tsp
Ginger pieces-1 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Dry red chillies-few
Curry Leaves-few
Turmeric little pinch
Salt to taste
Hing-1/8th tsp
Oil-2 tsp


Preparations:

Take 2 cups of poha in a bowl and clean well with water.Drain the water and keep it aside.
After sometime the poha gets soften.

Soak the Tamarind in the warm water.To get more pulp.

Sesame seeds Powder:




Method:

Take the pan and pour the oil and heat it.To this add the peanuts and fry it.
Fry till it turns to light brown.

Now add the mustard seeds and jeera make it pop.
To this add the dry red chillies,green chillies,ginger pieces,curry leaves and hing.Fry for 15 seconds.

To this add  the tamarind juice and boil it.

To this add the turmeric and salt.Make it boil.

When the juice gets little thick add the poha.


Mix it well.

Now add the sesame seeds powder and mix it again.Serve it.




Note:

Sesame Seeds:This is optional we can use or not.
Peanuts:We can dry roast and make powder.This we can use too.
