Hai friends today I am coming with simple and easy recipe called "Sorakaya Peel Fry". This is very easy and tasty recipe. We always do chutney with this peel. We can do fry also. Adding more garlic gives nice taste. This goes nice with rice and roti. I enjoyed with both. Next time dont trash the peel. Do this fry You will love it. Ok lets go the recipe
Ingredients:
Sorakaya/Bottle Gourd Peel-2 cups
Garlic-4 cloves
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Dry red chillies- few
Curry Leaves- few
Salt to taste
Oil-1 tsp
Collect the peel and clean well and keep it aside
Chop it as shown here
Place the pan add oil and heat it. When it gets heat add the chopped garlic.
When garlic turns light brown add the mustard seeds , jeera ,dry red chillies and curry leaves
After 1 minute add the chopped sorakaya peel and mix it well. Then add half cup water and required amount of salt
Cover it and cook for 3 minutes
Cook till the water evaporates
Now curry is ready to serve with hot steamed rice
