Suji Halwa

Hai friends how r u guys.I am back after 3 months.I missed all ur recipes ,events and every thing. My trip was good and i came with lots of new recipes.Ok lets go to the recipe today i am coming with the suji halwa.

Ingredients:

Suji or semolina-1 cup

Milk-2 1/2 cups

Sugar-1 cup

Salt little pinch

Ghee-1/2 cup

Cashew nuts and raisans-1/4 cup

Elachi little pinch(In this recipe i forgot to add the elachi)

Method:

First switch on the stove and place the pan.

When it gets heat add little ghee and fry the cashew nuts when it is half cooked add the raisans fry until the raisans pop up like a balloon.Immediately we have to remove from the heat.Keep this nuts aside.

Now in the same pan add the suji and fry until the nice aroma comes.Keep this aside untill we need.

In the same pan add the milk and make it boil. When it gets boil slowly pour the suji by mixing continously otherwise it forms like balls.(at this time we have to reduce the heat)

When the suji is cooked add the sugar and mix it well and cook for 1 minute.

To this add the nuts and ghee.

Mix it well take the halwa to the serving bowl.

Note:If u want the halwa into cubes u have to use 2 cups of milk for 1 cup suji.
