Ingredients:
Dosakaya-2
Rice -2 cups
Turmeric-1/2 tsp
Lemon juice-4 tsp
Green chillies-5(Acc to ur taste)
Ginger chopped-1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds powder-2 tsp
Fenugreek powder-1/8th tsp
Salt to taste
Chopped Coriander-Hand ful
For Tampering(Taalimpu)
Urad dal-1/2 tsp
Chana Dal-1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Dry red chilli pieces-few
Curry Leaves few
Hing little pinch
Preparations:
First we have to cook the rice.Clean the rice well with the water and drain the cleaned water.
Then measure the water and add to the rice .To this add the turmeric and 1/2 tsp oil (so that the rice wont stick each other)mix well cook until the rice get cooked.After the rice get cooked keep the rice aside.
Wash and peel the skin of the Dosakaya.Cut it into half and take off the seeds in the middle of the Dosakaya and cut it into chunks.
Method:
Place the pan and heat it.When it gets heat add the oil,Urad dal,chana dal fry it turns brown.
Now add the mustard seeds when it starts to pop add the jeera,dry red chillies,curry leaves,ginger and slit green chillies and fry at last add the hing fry for few seconds.
To this add the dosakaya chunks and little turmeric mix well cook this for 2 minutes in low flame until the dosakaya gets cooked.
After 2 minutes add the mustard seeds powder,fenugreek powder and salt mix it well all the pieces get coated well.
Add the cooked rice and mix well.
Finally add the chopped coriander and take out from heat.When it gets cool add the lemon juice and mix well.
Serve it with dal.
