Chicken Biryani

Hai friends today i am coming with the nice and tasty recipe called Biryani.This is one of the best dish.Everybody love this dish.We can prepare different types of recipes to make biryani.This is one kind of version.In my house we love this version a lot.I hope u all gng to love this recipe.Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Chicken-2 lbs
Basmathi rice-2 cups
Onions-2
Green chillies-6
Curry leaves few
Ghee-1 tsp
Oil-2 tsp
Elachi-4
Cloves-4
Cinnamon-2 small sticks
Salt to taste
Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Curd-1/2 cup
Sugar-1 tsp
Coriander Leaves-few
Water-3 cups

For Grinding:

Onion-1
Coconut-1/2 cup
Ginger Garlic paste-2 tsp
Green chilli-1
Elachi-2
Cloves-2
Cinnamon-1
Poppy Seeds-1 1/2 tsp
Coriaander seeds-1 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp

Preparations:

Take all the Grinding Ingredients in the jar and blend to the smooth paste as shown in the pic and keep it aside.

Clean the chicken well with the water and keep it aside.

Method:

Place the cooker pan and heat it.
To this add the both the oil and the ghee.
When it gets heat  add the cashew spices and fry until it turns to light brown.
Now add the green chillies and curry leaves and fry for few seconds.
Add the sliced thin onions and turmeric and fry untill it turns to golden brown.
Add the cleaned chicken and little turmeric and fry for 2 minutes.
Later add the little amount of salt and chilli powder to the chicken.
Fry this until the chicken get cooked .
To this add the grinded masala paste and mix well.Fry this until the raw smell goes.
Add the yogurt and mix well.
Add the rice and mix well and fry for 3 minutes.
To this add the water,salt,sugar and chopped coriander and mix well.
 
Cover with the lid and cook this until 1 whistle comes.
Then off the heat and wait until the pressure goes.
After pressure goes open the lid and serve it hot with raita.
