Cut Mirchi

Hai friends today i am coming with nice and spicy recipe called "Cut Mirchi".This is one of best recipe from andhra.Most of people love this recipe.When it was raining i love to eat this snack.There are various stuffing for this bajji.But i tried with simple spice mix.This is the first time i tried this recipe and it was a great success.I hope u all will enjoy.Ok give a look at this recipe and try.


Ingredients:

Bajji Mirchi-4
Oil for deep frying
Onion chopped-1 cup
Coriander Chopped-1 cup
Lemon-1
Chat Masala-1 tsp

Batter:
--------
Besan-2 cups
Salt to taste
Chilli powder required
Baking powder little pinch
Water to mix the batter

Take a wide bowl and add the besan,salt,chilli powder,baking powder one by one and whisk it well.
 
 
 
 
 
To this add water and make dosa batter consistency.

Keep it aside

Spice mix:
------------

Ajwain-1 tsp
Amchoor powder-1 tsp

Take the spice blender and add the ajwain and amchoor powder and blend to fine powder.
 
 
Keep this aside

Pappu Podi:
---------------

Roasted Chana Dal-1/2 cup
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Salt 1/8 th tsp

Take the the blender and add the chanadal,jeera and  salt to make fine powder and keep it aside.
 
 
 

Preparations:

First clean well the mirchi well with water and later wipe with towel with excess water.
 
 
Make a slit in the middle and remove the seeds from the chilli.
To this apply the spice mix in the mirchi and keep it aside.

Now the batter,spice mix,pappu podi and mirchi is ready.

Method:

Place the oil for deep frying.When the oil is ready to fry.
Dip the mirchi in the batter and fry till the bajji turns to golden yellow.
 
 
 
 
Take out from the oil and place them in the paper to absorb excess oil

Wait till the mirchi gets cool.
Now cut the mirchi horizontally as shown in the pic.
Again place the cut mirchi in the oil and fry till it turns to crispy.
Take out from the oil and place them in the paper.
 
 

Serve the michi in the bowl and sprinkle the onions,pappu podi,chat masala,coriander and also lemon juice.
We can have this in the evening with tea in the rainy evening.
