Rasam Powder

Hai friends today I am coming with nice and useful post called "Rasam Powder".This is must spice powder in Indian Kitchen.In south India this powder is must in the kitchen.Its a mixture of spices and dal to form nice aroma powder.The homemade powder gives nice floavour to the rasam.I mostly prepare this powder in the home.Today I want to share with u guys.I got this recipe from my mom.Ihope u all love it.Ok lets go the recipe


Ingredinets:

Toor Dal/Kandi Pappu-1/2 cup
Dhaniya/Coriander seeds-1 cup
Jeera-1/2 cup
Peppercorns/Pepper/Miriyaalu-2 tsp
Dry whole red chillies/Endu mirapakaayalu-1/2 cup
Mustard seeds/Aavalu-1 tsp
Turmeric/Pasupu-1/2 tsp
Hing/Inguva-1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves/Karivepaaku-Handsful



  Method:

Take a wide pan and heat it.When it gets heat dry roast every thing separately.(don't heat the turmeric and hing)



















Dry roast until light brown or dry.
Keep it aside and make it cool.

When it gets cool put in the blender add the turmeric ,hing and blend to fine powder.(The blender jar should be completely dry).



Put in the dry jar and store it.
