Coconut Chutney without Tamarind

Hai friends today i am coming simple chutney called "Coconut Chutney".I usually add tamarind to every chutney but in this recipe i didnt add tamarind .Without adding tamarind also the chutney taste amazing.This goes nice with both idly and dosa.Ok lets go to the recipe

Ingredients:

Coconut grated-1 cup
Roasted chana daal-1 cup
Green chillies-6
Ginger pieces-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric-1/8th tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Urad daal-1/2 tsp
Chana daal-1/2 tsp
Curry leaves few
Oil-1 tsp

Sesaoning


Jeera-1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Urad dal-1/2 tsp
Chana dal-1/2 tsp
Curry leaves few
Oil-1 tsp
Hing little pinch


Method:

Place the pan add oil and heat it.

To this add the urad daal and chana daal fry till it turns to light brown.

When it turns brown add the mustard seeds and jeera make it pop.

When it starts add the green chillies ,ginger pieces and curry leaves fry for few seconds.

Now add the coconut,turmeric mix it fry it for 1 minutes.


Finally add the roasted chana dal and switch off the flame.


Make it cool.

When it gets cool transfer all the mixture to the blender and add the salt ,water blend to smooth paste.




Take small pan  add oil and heat it

To this add the urad daal and chana daal fry till it turns to light brown.
When it turns brown add the mustard seeds and jeera make it pop finally hing.
Add the seasoning to the chutney.
Serve with dosa or idly.
