Traditional Majjiga Pulusu


 Hai friends today i am coming with yummy and tasty recipe called "Majjiga  Pulusu".This is very easy tasty and comfort food .This we can do in different variations .This is one of the variation.This recipe i saw from the Vismai  Food channel. I really liked the dish and give a try .It came out so good.Ok lets go the recipe




Ingredients:

Curd/Yogurt-2 cups

Bottle gourd pieces -1 cup

Bendakayalu/Okra-1/2 cup

Green chillies-2 or 3

Tomato-1

Curry leaves few

Salt to taste

Turmeric little pinch

Oil-1 tsp

Tamarind juice-2 tsp

For grinding

----------------

Raw  Rice-2 tsp

Coriander seeds-2 tsp

Jeera-1 tsp

Mustard seeds-1/4 th tsp

Chana dal-1 tsp

Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp

Peppercorns-1/2 tsp

For seasoning

-----------------

Ghee-2 tsp

Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp

Jeera-1/2 tsp

Dry red chillies few

Curry Leaves-few

Hing little pinch

Preparation:

Take all the grinding stuff in the bowl add 1 cup water and soak it for 30 minutes.



After 30mminutes grind to smooth paste and keep it aside


Add this paste to the yogurt and mix it well without any lumps


Add little water too

Keep this aside


Method:


Take  thick deep bottomed pot and add 6 cups of water

Add the cut veggies ,chillies ,tomato pieces ,curry leaves ,2 tsp tamarind juice and salt one by one and make it boil.







It takes 10 minutes to boil



Now add the yogurt and masala mixed mixture to the cooked veggies

Add turmeric and salt too.


Cover it and cook for 20 minutes.

After that do seasoning

Place the small pan and add the ghee

To this add the mustard seeds,jeera,dry red chilli pieces ,curry leaves and hing.

Add the seasoning to the majjiga pulusu

Finally add the chopped coriander to the majjiga Pulusu

Now the Majjiga Pulusu is ready.

This tastes better when it soak for 2 to 3 hours.

Serve this with hot steamed rice

How to Clean Messy Greasy Pans

 Hai friends today I am coming with wonderful tip .This is very easy .For this tip for sure we need oven.

Mostly now a days oven is having self clean mode .This tip can work in self clean mode only.

We should not use plastic and steel for this tip .We have to use only aluminum kadai/pots only.

While these pans are in the oven it produces more heat  and smell .Don't worry for the smell. The smell 

comes for sometime .This should be done in the morning only .Don't do during night.

Ok lets go how to do




This is how my greasy pans are




Place the pans upside down on the rack as shown in the pic

Now select the self clean mode

After selecting it shows 5 hours .Select and close the door .The door wont open during self clean

After 5 hours see how clean the pans are .Wait for sometime to cool.

After taking out wipe the pots with water.

Now the pots an pans are clean

Look how clean and shiny they are

Dhaniyalu Chintagunda Podi(Coriander and dried tamarind leaves podi)

 Hai friends today i am coming with yummy and tasty recipe called "Dhaniyalu Podi"

This goes nice with the rice and Idly . I like this with rice .This can be stored in the fridge for many months. My mom makes best powders .This recipe is from her .Every time she prepares and send it to us.

This year due to pandemic its tough to send the parcel. So i learned the recipe and it came out so good.

Ok lets go the recipe







Ingredients:


Dhaniyaalu/Coriander Seeds-1 1/2 cup

Jeera/Cumin Seeds-1/2 cup

Sesame Seeds-2 tsps

Dried Red chillies-15(Use Acc to ur spice level)

Salt to taste

Dried Tamarind Leaves Powder-2 tsp

Garlic pods-5

Curry Leaves -Handsful


Method:

Place the pan add the coriander seeds and dry roast in low flame .Roast until it turns to light brown.

When it roasted well .Take out from the pan and take in the another bowl.

Now in the same pan add the jeera and dry roast in low heat till it comes nice aroma.

When it gets roasted take out from the pan and transfer to another bowl.

Now in the same pan dry roast the sesame seeds in low heat till it turns to light brown.


When the sesame seeds are roasted  .Take out from the pan and transfer to another bowl.

Now in the same pan add the dry red chillies and fry it till it roasted well.


When the chillies roasted well .Transfer to another bowl.

In the same pan add the curry leaves and fry in low heat.

When the curry leaves roasted well .Take out from the pan and transfer to another bowl


Now cool the all the fried stuff


When the mixture is cool .Add to the blender add salt ,garlic and dried tamarind leaves in the blender





Blend to the smooth powder




Blend to powder .Transfer the powder to clean dry jar.
Store in the Fridge
