Peanut chutney(Ground Nut)

Hai friends today i am coming with Simple chutney "Peanut Chutney".This is very simple and its very nice to take with idly .vada and dosa.We can prepare in two ways it depends upon our taste.I prepare this chutney without adding the onions but now i too start adding onion it is giving nice taste. Now lets go to the chutney
Ingredients:

peanuts-1 cup
onion small-1(optional)
tamarind-small lemon size
garlic pods-2
turmeric pinch
dry red chillies-5(use can use fresh green chillies)
mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
jeera-1/2 tsp
salt to taste
oil-1 tsp
curry leaves few

Method:
First cut the onions into chunks and Soak the tamarind in the warm water to get the tamarind pulp.
Put the pan on the and dry roast the peanuts until it changes to brown colour. When it is little heat peel the skin of the peanut. When it is heat only u can rub the peanuts so that skin will come out easily.
Now take the same pan and add 1/2 tsp of oil add the onions and red chillies and garlic to it.Fry until it is transparent.Turn off the heat and make the onions cool.
Now take the jar for blending this.Add the peanuts, onions, garlic, jeera, red chillies, salt, and tamarind pulp. Now blend this to fine paste.
Now put the pan and add the remaining oil and heat it.When it s heat add the mustard seeds, jeera ,dry red chilli pieces and curry leaves when they starts splutter turn off teh heat and add this to the paste. Now the chutney is ready to serve and eat.
This goes nice with idly, dosa, wada and also punugulu.

  8. Hi Vineela, Italian Seasoning comprises of equal quantities of Thyme, Rosemary, Marjoram, Oregano, Savory and Basil (all dried herbs)... If you need some variation you could also add Coriander (dried leaves) and red pepper flakes... You may also prefer you use them fresh...
