Hai friends today i am coming with Jantikalu. Some people call it as Murukullu. This all time favourite. In my family we all love Jantikalu. This recipe i got in the google search.I too changed little by adding few more ingredients.I hope u all love it.Lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Rice flour-3 cups
Urad dal flour-1 cup
Roasted chana dal(Putnaalu pappu)-1 cup
Salt to taste
Butter-4 stp
Sesame seeds-3 tsp
Green chillies-5  or 6
Chilli ginger paste-2 tsp
Ajwain(vaamu)-1/2 tsp
Oil-2 or 3 cups(for deep frying)
Baking soda-1/4 th tsp
Water required to mix the flours

Method:

First take the roasted chana dal, chillies ajwain in the blender and blend to fine powder and keep it aside.
Take the large bowl and add the 3 cups of rice flour,1 cup urad dal flour,1 cup blended dal, baking soda, sesame seeds, salt and whisk it well.
To this add the melted butter and mix well.
Now add the chilli ginger paste and mix it well.
Add water slowly by mixing and it should be like chapathi dough.
Now cover it with damp cloth and rest this for 2 hours.
After two hours remove the cloth and now ready for deep frying.
Place the deep frying pan and pour the hoil and heat it.
Whenit gets heat take the required amount od dough in the jantikallu press and press this in the oil.
Deep fry it when it turns to brown and crispy.
Take out from oil and place the paper to absorb excess oil.
When it gets cool preserve them in the air tight box.
Serve this at evening tea time.
