Hai friends today i am coming with Bhidhi rice.U all saw that Bhindi Rice.Its really very new and innovative recipe.When i heard this name i really got surprised and saw the recipe.Finally i love it.Its simple and healthy.U all going to love it.Its really good and easy for bachelors to cook this rice.My brother and few of my bachelor friends ask me to post simple recipes for them.I hope this is good for them. Ok lets go to the recipe.
Ingredients:
Bendakya or Bhindhi or Okra -1 lb
Rice 2 cups
Garlic chopped-1 tsp
green chillies-5
Turmeric little pinch
Salt to taste
Coriander Leaves few
Curry Leaves
Preparations:
Clean the rice with water well and add 1:1 ratio of water and cook the rice.After 20 minutes the rice get cooked.Keep this rice aside.
Clean the bhindi well with water and later cut like circles and make it dry for 5 minutes.
Method:
Placethe pan and heat it.When it gets heat add the bhindhi and fry it without oil so that the bhindhi will not sticky .Fry until it gets crisp and little light brown as shown in the pic.
Take out from pan and keep it aside.
Now in the same pan add the oil and make it heat.When it gets heat add the chopped garlic and fry it until it changes to light brown .
to this add the slit green chillies and the curyyleaves fry it for 1 minute.
Add roasted bhindhi and mix well.
Add the turemic to the bhindhi and required amount of salt and mix well.
Add the cooked basmati rice mix it well.
Finally add the chopped coriander and mix it well.
Serve it hot with yogurt or Raita.
Nice..quick and easy one....good for lazy days...
