Ingredients:
Salmon fish pieces-6
Tomatoes-3
Onions-2(big)
Garlic chopped-2 tsp
Curry leaves-few
Peppercorn-1/2 tsp
Fenugreek seeds-1/4 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Chilli powder-1 tsp (Acc to ur taste)
Jeera coriander powder-1 tsp
Water 1 cup
Oil-2 to 3 tsp
Preparations:
First clean the fish with water by adding salt and turmeric to it.Clean well without having the scales of the fish.Keep it aside the cleaned fish.
Chop both the onions and tomatoes and keep it aside.
Method:
Place the wide pan and add the oil and heat it.
When it gets add the peppercorns,fenugreek seeds,jeera and fry until the raw smell goes.
To this add the chopped garlic and the curry leaves fry it until the garlic turns to light brown.
Now add the chopped onions and turmeric and cook until the onions turns transparant.
Add the chopped tomatoes to this cover with lid and cook in low flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
After that remove the cover and add all the spices jeera dhaniya powder,Chilli powder and salt mix it well and add 1 cup or more cups of water and cook this for 5 minutes.
Add the fish pieces one by one and cover it cook this for 5 minutes on each side.
After 5 minutes turn the other side of fish and cook for 5 minutes.
Later switch of the heat and take the curry in the serving bowl and sprink coriander leaves.
Serve hot with steamed hot rice.

ReplyDeleteSalmon curry looks delicious. I once tried making grilled salmon fillet with all the Indian spices and it turned out yummy...usually people say that salmon is not ok for Indian recipes.
