Ingredients:
Basmati rice-2 cups
Boiled vegetables combination-1 cup(Carrot,Green Peas,Beans)
Grated Coconut-1 cup
Dry red chillies-5
Green chillies-3
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera -1/2 tsp
Urad dal-1/2 tsp
Chana dal-1/2 tsp
Curry leaves few
Oil-1 tsp
Ghee-1 tsp
Hing-1/8th tsp
Salt to taste
Sugar 1/2 tsp
Water -2 cups(Only to cook the rice)
Preparations:
First we have to cook the rice.To this we have to clean the rice well with water and take it in the rice cooker cup .
To this add the required amount of water and cook this rice.
After some time the rice get cooked and keep it aside.
Take the carrot and peel the skin of the carrot and cut the carrot into pieces and boil it and keep it aside.
Method:
Place the wide pan and heat it.When it gets heat add the oil and ghee and make it heat.
When it gets heat add the hing ,dry red chillies and fry this.
To this add the urad dal and chana dal and fry this until it changes the light brown.
Soon add the mustard seeds and jeera make it pop.
To this add the slit green chillies and curry leaves and fry for 30 seconds.
Now add the boiled vegetables and mix it well and fry for 1 minute.
Add the grated coconut and mix well.
Finally add the salt and the cooked basmati rice and mix it well.
At last add the half tsp sugar.
Finally add the chopped coriander and mix it well and serve with the Raita or curry.
