Chettinad Mushroom

Hai friends today i am coming with the " Chettinad Mushroom".I got this recipe from the Aarti blog YummyTummy.I really love this recipe its simple to try and gives lot of taste.Thi goes nice with rice and roti.Ok lets go to the recipe

Ingredients:

Mushrooms-2 cups
Onions-1(big)
Tomato-1(big)
Turmeric-little pinch
Salt to taste
Curry Leaves- few
Oil-1 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves-handsfull

For Masala to Grind:
-------------------------
Urad dal-1 tsp
Chana Dal-1 tsp
Dry chillies-5 or 6
Coriander seeds-1 tsp
Jeera-1 tsp
Peppercorns-1/4 th tsp

Preparations:

Place the pan and dry roast  all the spices.
Fry this till it turns to light brown and keep it aside.
Make it cool and grind to make powder.

Method:

Place the pan and add the oil and heat it.
When the oil gets heat  add the mustard seeds and jeera and make it pop.
Now add the curry leaves,sliced onions and turmeric.
Mix it well and fry till it turns to light brown.
Now add the sliced mushrooms and mix well cook till it looses water.
Add the salt and cover with lid and cook till the mushroom is done.
To this add the chopped tomtoes and cook for 5 more minutes.
Now add the blended powder and  mix it well.
Finally add the chopped coriander.
Serve it hot with rice and roti.Mushroom
