Ingredients:
Raagi Flour-4 cups
Rice flour-2 cups
Onion-1
Garlic cloves-4
Dry red chillies-5(use acc to ur taste)
Sesame seeds-2 tsp
Ajwain-1/2 tsp
Hing-1/8the tsp
Salt to taste
Butter-2 tsp
Water required to mix the dough
Oil-For deep frying
Preparations:
Chop the onions and garlic.Take the jar and add the chopped pieces and the chillies and blend to the smooth paste.
Method:
First dry roast the Raagi flour or simply put the flour in the microwave safe bowl and heat for 3 minutes.
After 3 minutes take out from the oven and keep it aside to make cool.
After it gets cool to this add the rice flour,hing,sesame seeds,salt,ajwain and whisk it well.
To this add the melted butter,grinded masala paste and mix it well.To this add little water and make nice dough.
Take hand full dough and put in the Murukku press.Now heat the oil for deep frying.When the oil gets heat take the murukku press and gently press in the oil .
Fry until it gets crisp and also little colour change.Now take out from the oil and place on the paper to absorb excess oil.
Do all the dough like this.
When it gets cool place in the air tight box and have with Warm Tea.
