Panasatonalu or Sampangi puvvulu(Sweet)

Hai friends today i am coming with nice sweet called "Panasatonalu or Sampangi puvvulu".This is very nice sweet and we can store this for more than 15  to 20 days.If we store this fridge it can stay for 1 month.This sweet takes some time to prepare but finally we can have the taste.First i taste this in my friends house.I asked for the recipe and try this we all love it.During Thanksgiving my co-sister and brother-in-law visit us for them i prepared the sweet.We all enjoy the sweet.Ok lets go to the recipe

Ingredients:

Maida-1 cup
Baking powder-1 tsp
Ghee-1 tsp
Water required to mix the dough
Oil-2 cups

For syrup:

Sugar-1 cup
Water-1/2 cup

Method:

Take the wode bowl and add the maida,baking powder and whisk it well.
To this add ghee and required amount of water and make it like the chapathi dough.
Make small balls with the dough.
Now take one ball roll it in the flour and make the round disc like the chapathi.
Now make the slits as shown in the pic.
Then roll it or roll it like the hand fan.Do all the dough like that.
Now place the oil in the kadai for deep frying.
When the oil gets slowly drop the panasatonalu one by one.
 
Fry this till it turns to golden brown.
Take out from the oil and drain it on the paper to absorb excess oil.

How to make syrup:

Place the pan add the sugar and water mix it well.
When the syrup gets to one string consistency off the heat and keep it aside.(To know when the syrup is one string consistency.Take a bowl of water and add little syrup and it forms like strings.)

How to make Panasatonalu:

Now the panasatonalu and Sugar syrup is ready.
Place the panasatonalu in the syrup and coat well with the syrup.
Take  out from the srrup and make it dry.
When it gets cool the syrup sticks to the panasatonalu.
Now the Panasatonalu are ready.
