coriander chutney

Hai friends today i am coming with nice chutney called "Coriander chutney".This is very simple to prepare.This tastes similar like gongura pacchadhi.This goes nice with rice and dosa.I got this recipe from sailaja Kitchen.When i got lots of coriander sitting in my fridge soon i would like to prepare this chutney.This stays in fridge for 15 days.Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Coriander bunches-2
Tamarind-lemon size
Chilli powder-to taste
Salt to taste

Seasoning:

Oil-2 tsp
Garlic-6 to 7 pods
Fenugreek seeds-1/4 th tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Dry red chillies- few
Curry leaves few
Hing little pinch
Turmeric-little pinch

Preparations:

Take the tamarind in the bowl add1/2 cup water and bring it to boil and cook this till it comes to soft and reduces water.Keep it aside.
Make it cool.
Clean the coriander well with water.Keep it aside.

Method:

Take the jar add the coriander,chilli powder,salt and the cooked tamarind and blend to smooth paste.
Now place the pan and heat it.
When it gets heat add the oil and garlic fry it till the garlic turns to light brown.
Now add the fenugreek seeds fry till nice aroma comes.
Add the mustard seeds make it pop.
Now add jeera,dry red chillies,curry leaves,hing and turmeric just give a toss.
Finally add the grinded paste and mix it well.
Serve it with dosa or rice.
