Oats Pongal

Hai friends today i am coming with "Oats Pongal".This is very healthy,simple and tasty recipe.I used to prepare this before with rice then broken wheat finally i tried with oats.It came out good and its good for health too.But this can be taken while it is heat.When it gets cool it dont taste good for me.I hope u guys will feel the same.Ok lets go to the recipe

Ingredients:

Oats -2 cups
Moong dal-1 cup
Green chillies-4
Dry red chillies-few
Ginger chopped-1 tsp
Whole pepper-1 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Turmeric little pinch
Curry leaves few
Hing-1/8th tsp
Salt to taste
Water-3 cups
Oil-1 to 2 tsp

Method:

Place the pressure cooker pour oil  and heat it.
Now add the mustard seeds and make it pop.
When it starts to pop add the jeera ,dry chillies,green chillies,ginger,curry leaves ,pepper and hing.
Now add the cleaned moong dal and turmeric  mix it well.
Now add the oats and mix it again.
To this add the water and salt mix it well.
Cover it and cook this until we got 3 whistles.
When we got 3 whistles off the heat and wait until the pressure goes.
Now the pongal is ready to serve.
Serve it with chutney or yogurt.
