Kaaram Gavvalu/Spicy Shells

Hai friends today i am coming with yummy and tasty recipe called "Kaaram Gavvalu".This is traditional recipe too.To this recipe we need separate mould plate or fork or new comb.I like both sweet and spicy Gavvalu.My hubby and my friends loved spicy gavvalu.I loved the sweet gavvalu the most.To this we need Gavvalu peeta.This i got from my friend  and prepare this recipe.This came out good.Want to share the recipe with u.Ok lets go the recipe

Ingredients:

Maida/All purpose flour-1 cup
Rice flour-3 tsp
Salt to taste
Chilli powder to taste
Sesame seeds-2 tsp
Oil(Hot)-2 to 3 tsp
Water required to mix the flour
Oil-2 cups


Preparations:

Take small pan and add the oil and heat it.


Method:

Take the wide bowl and add the maida,rice flour and salt.Whisk it well.


Now add the hot oil and mix it carefully.


To this add the chilli powder,sesame seeds and required amount of water and mix it well.





Mix it like chapathi dough.

Keep this aside for 15 minutes.

Now make small balls with the dough.

Take the Gavvalu board and take one ball and place it on the board and press down slowly now t will form like shell.




In the meantime take the oil in the deep frying pan and heat it.
When it gets heat slowly add the gavvalu into the oil.

Fry until it turns to light golden brown
.
Take out from the oil and place them on the paper arranged plate to absorb excess oil.


Fry the gavvalu in batches.
Serve it in the evening with hot tea.
