Raagi Murukkulu

Hai friends today i am coming with Raagi Murukku.I want to try soem new jantikalu so just google search and i saw this recipe from Padmas recipes i saw different murukku recipes i really love it try 2 varities of Jantikalu.They came out really very tasty.I changed very little in my recipe.Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Raagi Flour-4 cups
Rice flour-2 cups
Onion-1
Garlic cloves-4
Dry red chillies-5(use acc to ur taste)
Sesame seeds-2 tsp
Ajwain-1/2 tsp
Hing-1/8the tsp
Salt to taste
Butter-2 tsp
Water required to mix the dough
Oil-For deep frying

Preparations:

Chop the onions and garlic.Take the jar and add the chopped pieces and the chillies and blend to the smooth paste.

Method:

First dry roast the Raagi flour or simply put the flour in the microwave safe bowl and heat for 3 minutes.
After 3 minutes take out from the oven and keep it aside to make cool.

After it gets cool to this add the rice flour,hing,sesame seeds,salt,ajwain and whisk it well.
To this add the melted butter,grinded masala paste and mix it well.To this add little water and make nice dough.
Take hand full dough and put in the Murukku press.
Now heat the oil for deep frying.When the oil gets heat take the murukku press and gently press in the oil .
Fry until it gets crisp and also little colour change.
Now take out from the oil and place on the paper to absorb excess oil.
Do all the dough like this.
When it gets cool place in the air tight box and have with Warm Tea.

Sunni podumu(Roasted chanadal spicy gun powder)

Hai friends today i am coming with nice spicy gun powder called Sunni Podumu.We call it as sunni podumu.In my house its all time favourite powder.This goes nice with plain steamed hot rice,Like chutney and also most for hot steamed idlies.My mom used to do this powder always.I asked recipe my mom told this and tried the recipe it came out good.OK lets got o the recipe.

Ingredients:

Roasted chana dal-3 cups
Toor dal-1 cup
Coriander seeds-2 tsp
Jeera-1 tsp
Dry red chillies-10(u can use acc to ur taste)
Garlic -10 pods
Salt to taste
Hing-little pinch
Curry leaves few
Oil-1 tsp

Method:

Place the pan and heat it first dry roast the toor dal,chillies,coriander seeds,jeera ,curry leaves one by one.
Now place them all in the plate and make it cool.
After it gets cool take thm in the blender along with the  roasted chana dal,salt,hing and blend to smooth powder.
Now take the pan and heat it .To this add the oil and heat it.
When it gets heat add the garlic and fry until it is roasted well when it is fully done add the curry leaves and fry it.
Now add the garlic and curry leaves without the oil in the blended powder.
Mix it well and transfer it to the air tight jar.
Serve hot with the steamed hot rice by adding little oil.It tastes heaven.


And also serve it as take some powder and add the oil and mix it well and it comes like chutney.It goes well with the rasam rice and curd rice.I simply love it this.

Chicken Soup

Hai friends today i am coming with the healthy and tasty soup "Chicken Soup".I love soups.For every 10 days i used to cook the different types of soups.Last month i tried this soup with some different vegetables and spices.I just use homemade chicken broth.I hope u all like it.Ok lets go to the rcipe.

Ingredients:

Chicken(boned or boneless)-1/4 th lb
Eggs-2
Onion-1
Garlic-3 to 4 pods
Carrot chopped-1/2 cup
Celery-1/2 cup
Macroni pasta-1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Pepper to tate
Rosemary -1/8 th tsp
Oregano-1/8th tsp
Bay leaves -3
Chilli sauce-1 tsp
Soya sauce-1/2 tsp
Corn flour-3 tsp
Olive oil-2 to 3 tsp
Water -4 to 5 cups

Preparations: We have to chop the garlic,onion,celery and the carrot.

Method:

At first we have to cook the pasta.Every time i used to cook on the stove top.But today i cook in the microwave oven.
Take the oven safe bowl and add the 1/2 cup maccorni 1 cup water little salt and olive oil cook for 15 minutes.
When it get cook keep it aside.
Now take the deep and bottomed pan which is good for making soups.I use the cooker.
Now turn on the heat when it gets heat add the chopped garlic when the garlic get cooked add the chopped onions and fry until it changes to light brown.At this time we have to add the chopped carrot and celery.Mix it well.
Cook this for 2 minutes.To this add the chicken,4 cups of water,salt,pepper,rosemary,oregano,bay leaves and cover with lid and cook this for 30 to 40 minutes in low heat.
After 40 minutes switch off the heat.
Now take out the chicken pieces and take the flesh and chop it.
Take another deep bottomed pan and heat it.When it gets heat add the chopped garlic an pepper.Mix it well.
To this add the cooked macarroni,cooked and choppd chicken and the cooked vegetables and the broth,chilli sauce,soyasauce cover and cook this for 5 minutes.
In the mean time we have to prepare the corn flour batter and break the eggs.
Take one bowl and add the corn flour and water mix well without any lumps.
In another bowl break the eggs and take egg white and yellow in the cup and whisk it well.
When the broth get cooked now gently add the corn flour mixture to get litle thick.Soon add the whisked egg gently (When we add the egg we should not mix it.When the egg get cooked it floats).
Now switch off the heat and serve the soup in the serving bowl.
Serve it hot.

Roasted Garlic Asparagus

Hai friends today i am coming with the Roasted Garlic Asparagus.This is very healthy,easy and tasty.Last week i tried this its very tasty so want to share with u guys.Here is the recipe.

Ingredients:

Asparagus-1 bunch
Garlic pods-4
Salt to taste
Dijon Mustard-1/2 tsp(Dont use more than that it dont taste good)
Pepper -Acc to ur taste
Olive oil-3 tsp

Method:

First clean the Asparagus with the water and keep it aside.
Remove the hard part and keep it aside.
Dont through the hard pieces peel of the skin and we can cook.
Take a big bowl and add the finely chopped garlic,dijon mustard,salt,pepper and olive oil.
Whisk it well.
Add the cleaned asparagus and mix it well.The paste should be coated to the asparagus well.
Pre heat the oven to 400F.
Arrange the asparagus on the baking sheet.
Bake this for 10-12 minutes.
After that take out from the oven and tranfer to the serving plate.
Serve it hot with roti,salad.
This is best side dish.
