Fish Fillets Fry

Hai friends today i am coming with simple fish fry.This is very simple and tasty.And also very easy to prepare.This is very easy and children also love to eat  it.This does not throns so no need to worry.I used Tilapia fish fillets.I bought this in costco.We really love it.Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Long Fish Fillets-2(I use Tilapia)
Onion(small)-1(thinly sliced)
Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
Turmeric-1/8 tsp
Salt to taste
Chilli powder-to taste
Curry leaves chopped-few
Coriander leaves chopped-few
Oil-1 tsp

Preparations:

First we have to defrost the fish and remove the cover and just clean with water.Make each fish fillets into four slices and keep it aside.

Method:

First take small or wide plate or bowl.
Add the turmeric,salt,chilli powder,ginger garlic paste,chopped curry leaves,chopped coriander leaves and oil.
Mix it well.
Now apply this mixture to the all the fish slices and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes heat the griddle or pan.
When the griddle gets heat spray the oil and place the fish fillets and sprinkle the onions and heat it.
When one side gets cooked we have to turn to the another side and cook until it is lightly roasted.
Now the fish is ready.
Serve it hot with fried rice or with rasam,sambar rice.This can be taken as appetizer also.

Carrot Rice

Hai friends today i am coming with Carrot Rice.Its very tasty.In my house we all love it.I Hope u also love this recipe.So want to share with u.Ok lets go tot the recipe.

Ingredients:

Carrots-1 lb
Rice -2 cups
Green chillies-6(Use acc to ur taste)
Onion-1
Grated coconut-1/2 cup
Ginger Garlic paste-1 tsp
Turmeric-Little pinch
Salt to taste
Cashew broken-few
Whole spices(Elachi,Cloves,Cinnamon)-4 each
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Water-2 1/2 cups
Oil-2 tsp

Preparations:

First we have to prepare the paste.To this take the jar and add the grated coconut,green chillies(2),jeera,ginger garlic paste and little water blend to smooth paste.Keep this paste aside.

Clean the carrot and peel the skin and keep it aside.Make it half and place on the chopper and press it.Do all the carrot .Now the chopped carrot is ready.

Peel the skin of the onion and chop it.

Method:

First Switch on the heat and place the cooker .When it gets heat add the oil,broken cashew.Fry the cashew until it changes to light brown.
Now add the whole spices,green chillies and fry for 1 minute.
To this add the chopped onionand turmeric fry until it changes to transparent.
Now add the chopped carrot and fry for 3 to 4 minutes.
When the carrot is cooked add the grinded paste and mix well and fry until the raw smell goes.
To this add the washed rice and mix well and fry for 1 minute.
Finally add the water and salt mix well.
Cover the cooker and cook this for 2 whistles.
Make it cool  and open the cooker cap and Serve it hot with Tomato chutney or Raita.
We all love this rice with Tomato chutney.

Chatpata chips(Masala Chips)

Hai friends today i am coming with the chatpata chips.This is nothing but frimes.We all enjoy this snack during watching movies mostly.I would like to have at the theathre while watching movies.I tried  with different masala.So want to share with u.Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Frimes-1 cup(I use 2 varirties)
Salt to taste
Chilli powder acc to ur taste
Chat masala- 1/2 to 1 tsp

Method:

First take small bowl and add the salt,chilli powder and chat masala and whisk it well and keep it aside.
Now place the oil for deep frying .
When the oil gets heat add the uncooked frimes and fry until fries well.
Take out from oil and place them on the paper ot absorb excess oil.
When it is heat only we have to sprinkle the masala that we prepared.
Mix it well.
Now the Masala Chips are ready.

Chuppulu

Hai friends today i am coming with the Chuppulu.This is famous snack in Andhra.This is nice muncing snack.I love this snack.During m pregnancy i mostly crave for this snack but i could not get from India.I asked my mom i want to eat this snack than my Mom told this recipe i tried and it came out good.But little difficult for me to do this because i was carrying 8 months.Anyway i tried and succeed in this recipe.Ok lets go to the reciepe.

Ingredients:

Rice Flour-2 cups
Sesame seeds-1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Ajwain-1/2 tsp
Water required to knead the dough
Oil-2 cups

Preparations:

How to prepare the Rice Flour:

First we have to clean the rice and soak the rice for 8 hours.
After 8 hours clean the rice and and drain the water completely.
When the water is drained completely now dry the rice on the cloth for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes take the dried rice in the jar and grind to fine powder.
Still there must be some coarse rice in the powder.
Now we have to seive the rice powder to get fine and smooth flour.
Sieve all the rice flour and keep it aside.

Method

Now measure 2 cups of flour and take them in the big and wide bowl.
To this add the sesame seeds,salt ,ajwain and whisk it well.
Now slowly add the water and mix it like dough but this dough must be little loose.
When it gets dry add little water and make the dough little firm.Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
Now place the dry cloth on the table wher it is sufficent to make chuppulu.
Take small amount of dough and make it like multiple circles as shown in the pics and videos.
Keep this aside for 15 to 20 minutes.
In the mean time we have to heat the oil.
When the oil gets heat slowly drop the chuppulu one by one and fry this until it turns to light brown.
Take out from the oil and drain them on the tissue paper to absorb excess oil.
Do all like that and make it cool.
When it gets cool store them in the air tight box.This is good for 1 month.
Serve this with evening Tea.

Note:
You can use the store bought flour but the fresh flour gives nice chuppulu.
Actual recipe ratio for sesame seeds is 2:2 ratio but i use 2:1/2 ratio because here if we add more sesame seeds it gives bitter taste.So i add 1/2 cup sesame seeds.

Chegodaalu(Sankranthi Special)

Hai friends today i am coming with one of Andhra Snack called Chegodaalu.In my family we all love this snack.Its my all time favourite spicy snack.This we give for all occassions like Marriage Sari and also for Craddle ceremony.My Mom and Grand Ma used to do this during Sankranthi.So i too love to do during Sankranthi.Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Rice Flour-2 cups
Sesame Seeds-1 cup
Moong dal-1/2 cup
Jeera-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Chilli Powder-Acc to ur taste
Oil for Deep frying
Water -Required to knead the dough

Method:

First take wide and deep bottomed bowl and add the 2 cups o rice flour.
TO this add the sesame seeds,moongdal,salt,chilli powder and jeera one by one and whisk it well.
Now add water slowly and mix well the dough like smooth.It must be thiner than chapathi dough consistency.
Now place the wet cloth on the table.
Take small amount of dough and place on the wet towel and roll it and joint the two ends and it forms like a circle and place on the cloth.Now do all the dough like this and make it dry for 30 minutes.
In the mean time we have to heat oil for deep frying.
When the oil gets heat place the chegodi in the oil one by one and fry until the chegodi turnss to brown colour.
When it changes the colour take out from the oil and place it on the paper to absorb excess oil.
Now fry all the chegodis andmake it cool.
When it gets cool place them in the airtight box.
Serve it with evening time Tea.
Its really heaven.

Okra Jaipuri

Hai friends today i am coming with the Okra Jaipuri.I got this recipe from the Vahrehvah.I really love this recipe.Today i tried and it came out good.So i want to share this recipe with u guys.

Ingredients:

Okra-1 lb
Sallt to taste
Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Amchoor powder-1/2 tsp
Besan-2 tsp
Curry Leaves few
Turmeric little pinch
Oil for deep frying

Method:

First wash the okra before we start cutting.
Cut the okra like the daimond shape.Place them on the tissue so that it absorbs the excess water.
Now take them in the bowl and add the chilli powder.salt,amchur powder and besan.
Mix it well by adding one tsp of water.
Now plce the oil for deep frying.When it gets heat drop slowly into the oil.
Fry this until it turns brown.
Take out from the oil and place them on the  tissue so that it absorbs excess oil.
Serve this like apptizer or serve this with rasam rice.
