Mokka Pesalu

Hai friends today i am coming with the "Mokka Pesalu".In last post i post how to make sprouts from the whole moong dal.With that sprouts we can eat raw or dosas or we can use in the rices or upmas and little spicy to the sprouts.Today i am coming with one of the recipe.This is best for evening snack.Its also one street side food.Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Whole moong sprouts-2 cups(how to prepare u can get recipe from here)
Green chillies-4
Dry red chillies-few
Onion chopped-2(1 onion for masala and 1 for garnish)
Turmeric little pinch
Salt to taste
Little chilli powder-1/4 tsp(optional)
Curry leaves few
Oil-1 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Lemon -1

Method:

Place the pan and heat it.When it gets heat add the oil.
Add the mustard seeds and make it pop.
When it starts to pop add the jeera,dry red chilli pieces,green chillies,curry leaves and fry for 30 sec.
Add the chopped onions and turmeric mix it well fry until the onions get cooked.
Now the time to add the sprouts,salt and chilli powder and mix it well and fry for 2 minutes so that the masala gets to the sprouts.
Now off the heat and keep it aside to make it cool.
When it gets cool add the fresh chopped onions and the lemon juice.
Now its ready serve and eat.
