Bacchali kura ,Pacchimamidikya Besaaru(Malabar spinach, raw Mango in Tangy Tomato gravy)

Hai friends today i am coming with the Besaru. We can prepare various types of Besaru.Today i am coming with one of it.This is called Bacchali kura,Pacchimamidikaya Besaru. This recipe is little spicy and tangy. We all love this recipe. This goes nice with plain dal rice.Or we can have it like a soup.I really enjoy this Besaru.Lot of my cousins asked me to post this recipe. So here i came with the recipe.

For masala:
Dry red chilli-5 to 6
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Garlic and mustard seeds(optional)

Raw Mango-2
Malabar spinach-1 cup
Vadiyalu-1 cupurad dal vadiyalu)
Dry mangoes-5
Chopped Onions-1/4th cup
Oil-1 tsp
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Dry red chillies-few
Curry leaves few
Rice flour-2 tsp

1.First cut the onions and tomatoes in chuncks. Now add the onions, red chillies, jeera and tomatoes in the mixie jar and blend to fine paste.Keep it aside.

2.Take dry mangoes in the microwave safe bowl and add 1 to 2 cups of water and cook for 10 minutes in the microwave oven and keep it aside.

3.Take the Malabar Spinach and chop it and clean well with water and keep it aside.

4.Take the mangoes and clean well with water and peel the skin and cut it into big pieces as shown in the pic.

Place the cooker and heat it.When it gets heat add the oil and make it heat.
To this add the mustard seeds and make it pop.Soon add the jeera, dry red chillies, curry leaves and few onions and fry it.
To this add the clean spinach and make it cook till it looses the water and the raw smell goes.
Now add  the mango piece and turmeric mix it well .
Cook this until the mango is half cooked.
When the mongoes are half cooked add the masala mix it well cook till the masala raw smell goes.
Now add the cooked dry mangoes along with the water ,salt add 1 more cup water and make it boil.
When it starts to boil add the Vadiyalu and cook this for 4 minutes or till the vadiyalu get cooked.
In the mean time we have to take the rice flour in the cup and add the water mix it without any lumps.
When the vadiyalu gets cooked slowly add the rice flour mix continously.
So it does not form any lumps.
Cook for 2 minutes.
Serve it hot with Steamed rice.

We can prepare the plain besaru without the Malabar Spinach and the raw mangoes.
When we dont use raw mongoes we can add more dry mongoes.
If we dont have vadiyalu we can use the wada paste.
