Bendakaya masala Koora(Bhindhi with besan Masala)

Hai friends today i am coming with Bhindi with besan.This is also called as sengapindi bendakaya.
Actually i used this besan masala only for stuffing.While i was prepare this curry i dont have much time so i try like this.For stuffing i used to add the roasted chana dal.One daay i will come with that recipe.This is very simple recipe we can prepare without onions also.Ok lets go to the recipe

Ingredients:

Bhindhi-1 lb
onion-1
Chopped ginger
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Jeera-1/2 tsp
Dry red chillies few
Curry leaves few
Oil-1 tsp
Salt to taste

For Masala:

Besan-3 tsp
Chilli powder-1/2 tsp(use acc to ur taste)
Dhaniya jeera powder-1/2 tsp
Turmeric little pinch

Preparations:

Take small bowl add all the for masala ingredients and whisk it well.Keep it aside.
Cut the okra as shown in the pic
Chop the onions.

Method:

Place the pan and heat it.
When it gets heat add the oil and add the mustard seeds make it pop.
When it starts to pop add the jeera,dry red chillies,curry leaves and ginger and saute for 30 sesconds.
Then add the onions and little turmeric and fry until transparent.
To this add the okra and saute it.
Cover it with lid and cook for 2 minutes.
Then add the salt and cover it again and cook this for 3 more minutes or bhindi gets cooked.
Finally  add the masala and mix well for for 1 minute.
Now the curry is done.
Serve it hot with steamed rice.

  5. Nice stir fry, If you don't mind I can tell u something, I doono exactly but you should not cover the okra. Since it leaves water the okra will be sticky.

    1. Thank u Anu.Yeah i too know that it comes sticy but i used to cut one hour before and dry them on the towel.Then it wont stick Anu.
