Tabouli(Parsley Salad)


Hai friends today i am coming with the healthy Salad called "Tabouli".This is Middle eastern dish.Last month i went to one Middle Eastern Restuarent.There i had this resturant me and my husband love this salad very much.This is very healthy.This is very tasty.Ok lets go to the recipe.

Ingredients:

Cracked wheat - 3/4 cup

Water - 3 cups
Parsley leaves-1 bunch
Tomatoes- 1 or 2
Onions-1
Lemon juice- 2 tsp
Salt  to taste
Pepper -Acc to ur taste
Olive oil -- 1/2 cup
 
 

Method:

First clean the cracked wheat and put the cracked wheat and required amount of water  in the cooker.
Cook this for 1 whistle and switch off the heat make it cool for sometime.
Now clean the parsley and drain the water.
Now chop all the parsely,tomato and also the onions.

Add the parsley,cooked craket wheat , tomatoes,onions, lemon juice, salt and pepper and stir together. Set aside for 15-20 minutes to allow flavors to mingle.

Serve this when it is fresh.
